500 km north of Rovaniemi, location on Tenojoki river bank, in Nuorgam, about 2 km to the fishing areas of Alaköngäs and Boratbocka. Tenojoki -river 10 m, deep shore, gravel bottom, river boat and outboard motor for rent. Log cottage, built in 1992, renovated in 2015. Kitchen-living room with sofa bed, bedroom with 2 single beds, another bedroom with bunk bed, loft with wide mattress (180 cm). Sauna (wood-burning stove), shower room / wc, covered terrace. NOTE: Hydro massage bath outdoors can be reserved for an additional fee (taking weather conditions into account), reservations and payment directly to the owner. Summer time 100 e / 3 days, winter time 130 e / 3 days. Cottage is equipped with air-source heat pump, gas grill, campfire site, smoking oven and vacuum packers. Finland's best salmon fishing sites are located nearby. Alaköngäs and Boratbocka together constitute about 6 km long fishing area. Both has its own, specific fishing rules (Tenoinfo brochure, www.ely-keskus.fi). Fishing permits are available from companies in the area. Transport services by snowmobile, ATV and jeep, guidance to fishing sites and willow grouse hunting areas, mountain bike rentals, as well as guided ski tours available from the owner. Hunting: willow grouse hunting area 1604 in Nuorgam (www.eraluvat.fi). Also permits for cottage owner's small game hunting areas (20 hectares) available. Nuorgam village services like shops and restaurant, 2-3 km away. The border crossing to Norway 6 km, Varanginvuono (Arctic Ocean) 40 km. Note: Utsjoki-Nuorgam -road is close, traffic noice can be heard.

460 km to the north from Rovaniemi, 10 km to the northwest from Utsjoki municipality center, river Tana 150 m, steep river bank between the cabin and the river, no own beach, access to the beach along the road. One of the three cabins located in same community. Outermost location. Boats, outboards as well as rowers and guides can be rented from the owner. Planed log cabin, built in 1990, completely renovated in 2023. Living room/kitchen with 2 beds and sofa, shower room, toilet, dressing area, small covered terrace on the river side. Idyllic wood-heated riverside sauna, shared with other cabins. Distance is about 150 m. The river has a good sandy beach. Nilla 3 is ideal for fishermen and hikers enjoying the nature of Lapland. There is a nice view to the river Tana and the Norwegian fells, it is also a great choice for northern lights observers. Nilla 3 is a cabin located near the best fishing areas in the Europe's largest salmon river. You can rent boat, outboard as well as rower and guide from the owner. In winter, excursions and guided ice fishing tours are available. Fishing: There are specific fishing rules on the river Tana (see Tenoinfo brochure published by the Lapland ELY Centre, www.ely-keskus.fi). Hunting: Distance to willow grouse hunting area 1602 Paistunturi is about 1 km (see www.eraluvat.fi). Services (including shop, restaurants and fuel sales) of Utsjoki municipality centre 10 km. Border crossing point to Norway and Sami bridge 10 km. “The most beautiful road in Finland”, Utsjoki - Karigasniemi at 30 m distance. Traffic noise may occur. In the kitchen, there is a ceramic hob and separate convection oven. Traditional lean-to shelter and campfire site by the lake. Torvokoski is an ideal base for outdoor activities and nature trips. It is also easy to make trips to the Norwegian side. The distance to Karasjoki is only 20 km, to Lakselvi 90 km. One of Utsjoki's three Ailigas fells is near Karigasniemi. It suits well a day trip destination. Ailigas hut, about 5 km along the path. Illuminated ski trail in the village, length 2.5 km. The trails in the area are also suitable for mountain biking. Fishing: The Utsjoki Wilderness angling permit area includes numerous lake, pond and river waters in the fell areas, for example in the Kaldoaivi, Paistunturi and Muotkatunturi wilderness areas in Utsjoki municipality. Some of the fishing spots are close to the road and easily accessible, so these spots are well suited for family day trips. Wide wilderness areas enable even long hiking trips.
