RRayI was in Fenghuang for less than a day, but the staff at the homestay here made me feel truly welcome.
They provided me with a map of all the attractions and helped me buy a ticket to access all of them, making my trip much simpler! Also, they recommended some fantastic restaurants that were definitely worth the visit!
The room was lovely, very spacious! Fenghuang can be a loud city at night, but it still felt cosy and tucked away in this room.
I'd definitely recommend this homestay if you visit Fenghuang!

The room was exquisite.
We loved the terrace. The seats were very comfortable and we had a great view.
Cherry on top we could see a fantastic show at night.
We could also enjoy the sight of the dragon boat at night.
Bare in mind that there is no pickup from the train station. But you can take the subway and they'll come and pick you up. If your party counts 4 members, I recommend taking a cab or a didi (just like the hotel recommended us).
That said, we were given free rides to visit the city.
They can also arrange a car for you to visit other sites (paying service).
We had huge and high quality towels as well as disposable hand towels.
The toilet was a washlet like the ones we have in Japan.
The hotel was very clean. Unfortunately, they were some remodeling going on on the first floor when we stayed there and the smell of the solvent was unpleasant.
They did not have enough sitting to accommodate proper sitting for everyone but we took our breakfast up to our private terrace and enjoyed it very much.
The breakfast is a set breakfast. We could choose between 2 types of Chinese breakfast.
I can't say that I loved the breakfast but it was nice.
You can arrange it with many sauces, condiments and plenty of fresh chives and cilantro.
You can even ask for seconds.
The butler was very kind and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff as a matter of fact.
They also have a washing machine that you can use for free but you have to take care of the drying yourself.
My family and I got sick from a previous food intoxication and we were happy that we stayed in such a nice hotel.
Fenghuang old city is very festive so it can get noisy at night but the terrace's windows are of very good quality, therefore it did not bother us much. It is possible that you can hear your neighbors though.
All in all, despite being sick we had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We were happily surprised to receive a farewell gift.
We definitely recommend the place and we go back to this hotel without hesitation.

GGuest UserOur experience was wonderful. People running this hotel are amazing, super kind, always helpful. I am Italian and I don’t speak chinese but with the translator we could communicate perfectly with them. The room was amazing, new and clean with a wonderful view of the village and river (we had booked a balcony room). At night it’s stunning! The bed was comfortable and wide. They have the elevator which is great and they are just 150 meters (2 mins) from the entrance gate of the ancient town. They provided a free shuttle from the railway station and helped us to obtain the tickets for the ancient town from our online reservations. It was very how during our stay and the air con was perfect in the room, they provided fresh water bottles everyday. Breakfast was chinese and super yummy (the best wonton in my life), they also have coffee, some backed cakes and toast bread. I really suggest to stay in this place!

GGuest UserVery good Homestay it’s small hotel but good location that near main square, hotel service very good like 5 stars hotel the lady who is everything as reception, cleaner and maybe manger help me a lot before I go there she guided me how go to home stay that very good and clear also when I arrived she guided me how walk around town and river, where is shortcut go there and where can I find stall or restaurant. Also once I need her help to find supermarket she responded immediately and clear. Recommend everyone who finding accommodation in Fenghuang

GGuest UserMagnificent view of 凤凰古城，while get to enjoy tranquility in the midst of the bustling town. There is a road right in front of the 民宿， thus taxi can come right to the foot.
The room we stay in is very spacious, the platform where I placed my luggage helped to reduce the stress on my knees, after climbing 武陵源。
The owner and staff were very warm and helpful. They always greeted us with: ”回来了” everytime we came back from outside and provided us with extra bottles of water upon request. On top of that they also helped to order food online, pre book places of interest, in Changsha, as we don't have a China SIM card.

EekkaluckOur hotel stay was in a suite with a spacious balcony offering a stunning view of Hong Bridge (虹桥, Hóngqiáo) in Fenghuang. At night, the bridge was beautifully illuminated, creating a breathtaking scene. The hotel owner, Ah Ming, provided excellent service, always taking great care of us. He helped carry our luggage and even offered a shuttle service to and from the train station.
The heating system, including the room heater, worked perfectly, ensuring a warm and comfortable stay. Ah Ming was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to assist and provide useful information throughout our stay. This hotel truly offers one of the most spectacular views—an absolutely unforgettable experience!

JJaqzannThis homestay has one of the best service and cleanliness standards in China. Because many hotels in extremely developed touristy area like Phoenix Ancient Town would be very much substandard but this homestay is not only of high standards, it is in a superb location too. Also they too will loan you a set of Miao costume for a one night stay, gor you yo wear to take photos.
Only one thing about homestays and guesthouses in China, the more authentic it is, the more possibility that there will be no elevator. And that is another thing my friend was complaining about.
My advice would be for people who like my friend has knee issues, to book building A because the elevator serves only up to level 4 of this building. Building B is higher and I presume better view but you gotta use stairs.
All in all, its fantastic and the rooms are same as the photos so no unpleasant surprises.

GGuest UserThe host was incredibly welcoming, proactively asking if we needed a pick-up from the station, and was quick to respond to our every need. The local stir-fried cured pork and sausage were delicious, and the sweet rice wine, in particular, left an unforgettable aftertaste. The view from our window was also quite beautiful. GGuest UserI’m writing a review as a traveller from the UK, and the room was VERY expensive for what you got. BUT you aren’t paying for the room you’re paying for the view! Which was SPECTACULAR! See pics, these are from the window of the room.
The room was okay for one night (all you really need in furong town) and the hotel did provide a pick up and drop back service from their local high speed rail station (it felt dodgy when going from the car park to the room but was okay).
Traveller tip: YOU NEED TO PAY FOR ENTRY TO THE TOWN. When entering the town you have to pay a fee as it’s a scenic area of China, this is unavoidable and the hotel fine print does mention you have to pay this.
All in all, you can enjoy an amazing view at this hotel, but I feel that for the price, you can stay elsewhere in this town and get the same experience for cheaper.

SSorinGThe location is just in the scenic area, view is incredible. The location is actually you are paying for, so expect the average on anything else.
The staff is ok, no english but the apps will do.
Breakfast is asian and quite basic.
Be warned that the cars taxis have no access inside the scenic area. The road from the drop point (scenic area gate) till hotel is rocky, paved with irregular stones, it’s a pita dragging the luggage, so come with a light one :))
At midnight everything shuts down, including the lights, so make sure you’re doing your night shots by then.
