"This time I was satisfied with the homestay where Chairman Mao lived. I booked it on Ctrip. The owner called in advance to inquire about the arrival time. I took the high-speed rail to Shaoshan South Station and the owner picked me up in person. The room was clean and tidy. I had three meals in the store. I ate Mao's braised pork. The homestay was not far from the scenic spots. The distance was just right. The square memorial hall was not far away. I was satisfied with this trip."

"The landlord’s service is very warm and thoughtful. We are crowded. We arrived at Lushan South Station at 9:30. The landlord arranged 2 cars for free pick-up. The room was also very spacious, hygienic and comfortable. I also ate the special farm dishes of the hometown of the great man at the landlord’s house. The landlord said that he would drive my home to the president's former residence for free. Since the homestay is only1.2 kilometers away from the president's former residence, we took the elderly and children directly for a walk from the beautiful rice field trail. Super praise for this stay!"

"The couple running this renovated traditional home in Mao's home village are very attentive to guests' needs, even on the busiest day of the year, December 26th, Chairman Mao's birthday. My partner was coming down with a cold and got some ginger soup to drink. Additionally, when we screwed up our schedule and almost couldn't make our train out of Shaoshan, with no train available to reschedule, the couple arranged for the husband to drive us to the station for little more than gas money. It's up a slight hill from the other inns and allows one to get a bit of peace and quiet, again, even on the busiest day of the year, when Shaoshan is very worth a visit for anyone interested in Mao Zedong's legacy, given the number of Chinese people who show up to sing, dance, wave various flags and give speeches. Don't make our mistake and schedule the Chairman Mao memorial hall for a full visit instead of rushing though it. The exhibit is full of pictures and dioramas and has English captions for most things.
I also wish we'd had time to explore the pagoda on the hill behind the guesthouse."

"Ok, it is recommended not to make loud noises in the corridor signs. The corridors are too noisy to come and go, and the morning hygiene is as light as possible. The sound is too frequent. "The inn is very close to the Bronze Statue Square, which can be reached in a few minutes. If you have enough time, you can go to the Bronze Statue Square once in the morning and once in the evening. The experience is different. There are many people during the day, and it is solemn and ceremonial. There are relatively fewer people at night. GGuest UserA person went to Lushan and began to book a room after dark. I found that I was really lucky today. The inn is superb, this price is far beyond expectations. The room and bed are very clean, the bathroom water pressure is very high, and the bath is particularly comfortable. The proprietress was enthusiastic and attentive. She just checked in and told me that she had any questions. For me who travels poor, I am really touched 🥹 I will come back next time I have a chance.

GGuest UserThis is a very typical rural B&B, with a restaurant on the first floor and guest rooms on the second and third floors. The B&B is located in a village at the entrance of the scenic spot. Parking is allowed and pets are allowed. It is about 500 meters away from the former residence of the elders and the Bronze Statue Square. The owner's service is warm and the room is clean. The facilities are simple and outdated. The bathroom did not provide bath towels and there was no shower. The bedding may be too basic and make a twitching sound when you turn over. In Shaoshan in March, the temperature at night was very low, so I needed to turn on the air conditioner, but the sound from the outdoor air conditioner was loud, like a tractor. When I turned off the air conditioner, the same sound came from the outdoor air conditioners in other rooms, and the quilt was a little thin. Great choice for light sleepers. It’s okay to just pass by on a self-driving tour and stay overnight.

GGuest User這真是一家值得強推的寶藏民宿啊！位置非常好，走到銅像廣場和故居，紀念館大概五六分鐘路程，老闆娘非常熱情好客，因為天熱還帶着小孩子，她還專門用電瓶車接送我們到景點。再説到民宿環境，因為踩過雷我近十年都沒訂過民宿了，全家出行基本是全季漢庭和亞朵，但這家民宿給我感覺非常乾淨！設備和室內都維護的很新，走廊窗子都安裝上了紗窗，為住客人考慮周到。獻花籃和訂表演門票也可以找老闆娘幫忙安排，明碼標價實在人。最後再次贊老闆廚藝，自家種的絲瓜，西瓜都特別爽口！不愧是村裡辦酒席的一把手😆😆

When I arrive at the store, whether it is the proprietress, the boss or the aunt, I am really enthusiastic, and I will try my best to meet our needs. The environment is really suitable and superb. We also brought dogs and were very friendly to pets. The dog has been playing with the cat in the store and chasing Mimi to climb the tree.
We didn’t finish our meal on the first day. The proprietress helped us pack it. We went out the next day and helped us see the dog. It was a really good stay experience. The treasures were going to rush. It was a very relaxing state.

The room was clean and hygienic, and the boss was very enthusiastic to teach us travel guides and precautions.
