我非常感謝這間民宿，因為錯過了火車，所以從切斯特中轉兩次到霍利黑德時已經晚上九點多了，期間他們給我發過郵件，在火車上忘記查看。老闆好像是印尼人，但是很友善，給我安排了房間，一大早就要坐船，所以沒有到他們的早餐時間，他給我拿了牛奶，各式麥片，果汁，水果。。。當點心，走的時候把鑰匙放到房間就好啦。
對我來説是雪中送炭，如果你要在霍利黑德過夜可以去他們家，這個鎮不大，鎮中心也有些小店可以解決温飽問題，鎮上的房子還挺有特色的。

The Orient is a basic hotel in Holyhead. TJ is the Vietnamese host. She was so welcoming and helpful. We needed to catch an early train and thought we would have to miss breakfast. TJ just agreed to serve it an hour early. Our room was large and comfortable. All in all very good value for money and much more personal than one of the big chain low cost hotels.

Stayed here last minute due to a cancelled ferry to Ireland. I have stayed in many top hotel chains around the world but this hotel really brings home that you don’t need much more than a clean place to stay with great hosts and basic amenities. The hotel is spotless. Free tea and instant coffee with an honesty box for paid snacks and drinks which is a nice touch. Great location to the ferry port. The hosts are faultless such friendly and welcoming people.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here on the way to Dublin from London where we came in on a train and departed on the ferry. We planned this trip ourselves based solely on reviews about Holyhead and the excellent reviews about the Orient B&B so we weren't surprised it all turned out wonderfully! We corresponded with the owner a few times before we arrived, and she always so prompt with her responses and were able to arrange being picked up at the train station and then dropped off at the ferry the following day. We opted for dinner and the food was magnificent, and the breakfast the next day was perfect. The room was very clean and large, nice bathroom, and we didn't hear any noise from other guests. We spent some time in the lovely backyard and living room taking advantage of their "honesty bar" with other guests. We would highly recommend the Orient and would absolutely stay here again.

Great value for money. We stayed overnight before our ferry to Dublin and had a lovely experience. Kind and friendly owners, room was nice enough with good sized bed and bathroom. Free tea and coffee as well as a reasonably well stocked bar. The room itself was quite nice, perfectly clean with a king sized bed and big bathroom with corner shower. Dinner is offered at an extra charge the food is fantastic traditional Vietnamese food with huge portions at great value for money, would definitely recommend eating here if you’re staying! Continental breakfast of fruit, cereal, yoghurt and toast is included and very reasonable, self service and includes free tea and coffee. There is an option to have a cooked breakfast for an extra charge however this is only from 8am so therefore didn’t suit us as we had an early ferry. Overall good value for money and 5 stars for what you pay for!

Rescued in Holyhead!
It was a dreary day when I arrived in Holyhead, no cabs to be had. I called the B&B and the owner took pity on me and came to fetch me at the station, too kind!
My room was bright and spacious and a complimentary chilled glass of wine was the perfect welcome. I had a lovely dinner to follow and she also arranged for a cab to pick me up and take me to the ferry terminal!

Highly recommend
A delightful stay with a friendly, thoughtful host, great food and generous portions. Comfy bed and linen, immaculately clean and excellent hot water. Good coffee and drinks of all kinds available. An excellent offer for a BnB. Owners obviously take pride in their offer.
