The annex building is a newer accommodation building, a bit like a homestay in China, very cozy. The rooms are relatively small, but that does not affect stay. There is a restaurant in the old reception area, which does great business. The dinner and breakfast areas are very cozy and comfortable. The breakfast is also good, with everything you need. This is a relatively niche town, and this accommodation is a good choice for dining!

The staff were friendly helped us to find the room, it was a 2 to 3 min walk from the pub, was given oat milk for my intolerances, the room was a gorgeous country feel and was very comfortable. We had a fan in case it got too hot, too. The breakfast which is included was really nice, they did a vegetarian and meat, and they did cereal croissant ect.

Loved the building and the food and the staff were attentive and friendly. If i had my time again i think i would have chosen a back room as the traffic in the front and the pelican crossing outside can be disturbing. Is it me, i do have and always have had a problem understanding the final bill when settling up at the hotel via the Chestnut central billing department.

We love the Feathers.
Lovely staff, excellent food and the rooms are always spot on.
Lots of nice little touches like real milk for your teas and coffees in the room.
We come back every time we work in Holt.

Holt is a charming town, with lots of independent shops and The Feathers was a great place to stay to enjoy Holt and the surrounding area. Our (good) room looked to have been recently renovated and was smart and well furnished, with a great shower and a welcome electric fan in the room as it very warm. One thing we found was a lack of restaurants in town, so we ate in the Feathers restaurant both nights, choice was good and food was well served. Breakfast was good too. Staff were friendly...all in all we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

On checking out I complained that the water temperature first thing in the morning was far too low to take a shower or have a wet shave ( used the kettle)
