Very good hotel. I booked here so many times with my family. Coming back

Room was clean and tidy, very easy book in and book out. Just stayed for a night so did not use any amenities. Tea and coffee in room. Nice balcony view, did tend to get a bit noisy through the night as you could hear the room next door. But would deff use again if in the area. Good value for money.

A lovely setting, however one of our rooms had no hot water and all the electricity failed during the night. As no staff are actually in the hotel it's not ideal We are in the on site restaurant and d found it so so. Based on my experience I wouldn't stay again but admit it most likely was just unfortunate circumstances

What an absolute pleasure to stay here, always looked for something special where I could relax and enjoy my time in peace! If you are looking for something special stay here, my experience from good night sleep to customer service has been excellent, food in restaurant amazing, staff members wonderful especially someone called Wes or Wesley, he did go an extra mile and above and beyond to support my requirements! Thank you Botson West Hotel for a lovely time!

Stayed there from Saturday 21 until leaving Sunday morning at 10. Upon attempt to use the Shower/Bath facility, there wasn’t any hot water, managed to track a member of staff and said he has the person in to eradicate the problem at around 10pm. 8AM the next morning - still no hot water. Stupid…

Beautiful rooms ,spotless, lovely and quiet and the balcony is a lovely feature . Staff in all areas very friendly and helpful. We had no hot water in room , these things happen sometimes. They dealt with with it perfectly and stress free , immediate result. Staff in the bar/club area so welcoming we ended up playing bingo which was unexpected , good fun. Also played footgolf . Will definitely return for a mini break Thank You Great Stay

Booking was all internet based and trouble free with a follow-up call from their reception on our day of arrival, where we were able to request and be granted a free room upgrade. On our arrival the receptionist was friendly and helpful and our room was clean and tidy apart from a couple of discarded pillow cases thrown on a vacant chair. Our first floor balcony overlooked the well maintained golf course and our bed was comfortable though remained unmade the following morning, despite our room being cleaned. We should have reported this oversight to the reception but didn’t. The meals we had in the cafè/restaurant were nothing spectacular, infact in most cases they were disappointing. We were able to obtain a 10% reduction on their prices due to us being guests at the hotel, but when we tried to take advantage of another offer which was advertised in our room (a free pint of beer when ordering a burger) we were told that that particular promotion was no longer active, despite it being in our room clearly saying it was! All in all a good place to stay, the room was large and spacious, the bath and shower worked well and the grounds were well maintained. The only things that let it down were our unmade bed, discarded pillow cases and not accepting advertised offers. So only 8 out of 10

Had a lovely spacious kingsize room with a balcony. Found it to be very clean, the bed was extremely comfy and the shower was excellent. Went to the restaurant onsite which was good although service was a bit slow. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely clean spacious well equipped room. We had the superior room and the balcony was a nice little extra. Golf club restaurant and bar were open for food so very handy. Lots of free parking and a perfect stop over location. Bit puzzled by some of the previous negative reviews . Would definitely stay if in the area again
