White Pines Inn & Suites

DISAPPOINTING! We recommended this hotel to a family member, and it was embarrassing! We arrived eager to enjoy the pool, but the horrific condition and lack of maintenance were simply unacceptable. It was shocking to witness children swimming in such cloudy, filthy water. We attempted to use the hot tub, which looked acceptable, but to our dismay, it was cold. We left promptly, feeling utterly let down. This getaway has turned into a nightmare. Everything is broken, dirty, and outdated. Expecting a good night’s sleep was futile—I woke up exhausted every day due to the uncomfortable beds. I booked this hotel five months ago for a wedding when the reviews were positive, but it’s clear that the quality has seriously declined. Management needs to take immediate action to address these issues; it’s apparent they lack concern for guest comfort and feedback. We considered changing hotels, but the timing didn’t allow it. My advice: for an animal-friendly hotel, I strongly suggest removing the carpets in the rooms. We reached out to the manager to provide friendly feedback and avoid this review, but there was no return call.

The rooms need to be remodeled . Old and worn. Had no coffee pods -no coffee creamer.non working ice machine. No smoke alarms and breakfast was minimal. Pay a little more and go next door.

Air conditioner doesn't work. Room had not been dusted for several days. Towel rack in shower area broke. Door knob on door to shower area broke. Closet doesn't have hangers. Guess there was a reason why they asked if we wanted to see the room before we checked in

Room bathroom light did not work, sheets had stains and multiple holes, the bathtub was filthy, vending machine did not work, my hallway and room smelled like ****, when you walk into the lobby the ceiling has water damage and pealing paint and the pool was filthy. I would not recommend this hotel if you have kids and do not smoke ****.

Front desk lady ( Ryma I think ) was the most pleasant and helpful person. She is a credit to the hotel. The room was nice and quiet. Close to downtown and has food and other stores in walking distance. Hotel has a nice pool and is in a safe area. Recommend.
