Hyatt Place Salt Lake City/Cottonwood

The rooms were spotless and cozy, giving me a true home-away-from-home experience. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating.

The rooms were good size, clean and the staff was very friendly! We were very impressed with the hot breakfast. Not only did they have a free more choices than the average hotel (including 3 non-dairy milk options), but it served with plates, silverware and glasses (not plastic ware). This makes for a better experience and so much better for the planet. It was a great value!!!

Desk staff was awesome helpful especially Sabia Toa...what a great helpful friendly person...after experiencing car troubles and having to extend my stay 3 days the desk staff was very helpful making it possible to not have to change my room to another room which helped me a lot.

Stayed here on two separate stays in a one week period. We stayed here the first two nights of our Western trip and then one night on our final way back to SLC airport. The first two nights we were greeted very nicely and professionally. Our room faced the parking lot and felt very clean. The bed was quite comfy. The bath was cleaned properly and stocked well. Although the rooms are of good size, the bathroom was smaller than normal for a standard room. On our second visit at the end of the week, we were greeted again professionally and offered complimentary waters this time. However, our mattress was not. Early as comfortable and when I had entered the bath, I saw a long black hair on the floor. When this happens, it makes me wonder how well the room was cleaned. The breakfast was well stocked with much selection. I had chosen this particular hotel based on reviews on this site. Although the property was satisfactory for our purposes, it did not carry that WOW factor that many people have raved about. We have stayed at several nicer Hyatt properties over the years.
