I would like to highlight Room Six, which was a delightful retreat. The attention to detail and comfort made it a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The staff were exceptional, always friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. Their dedication to providing outstanding service truly enhanced my stay. Dinner and breakfast were both highlights of my visit. The meals were delicious, showcasing the quality and care that goes into your culinary offerings. I particularly enjoyed the variety and freshness of the ingredients used. The overall ambiance of The Victoria is simply charming, making it a perfect getaway. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and I am already looking forward to my next visit.

everything is just right. friendly staff, great beer, great food, good bedrooms. We stayed for 3 days b & b plus evening meal plus holkham experience. food is as good as it gets. not pretentious just good quality ingredience and cooked by people who know what they are doing. We shall be back in a few months for a repeat.

We had our 10th Wedding Anniversary here and it was a lovely time. From the heart shaped towel on the bed, the rose petals and the Happy Anniversary card that was so thoughtful we had a wonderful time. We stayed in one the suites called Wilbraham and it was great. The separate living room downstairs was just perfect for relaxing after a long walk and our bedroom was divine. Gorgeous bathroom with a huge walk in shower and free standing bath tub. We had a dinner bed and breakfast package for 2 nights and as ever the food was delicious. We love coming to stay here, the location is perfect and this privately run hotel always has the most friendly staff to make your welcome just perfect.

This Hotel is really worth a visit not just because it is exceptionally clean with comfortable beds and serves delicious food by friendly professional staff or indeed its location and all that the local Holkham Hall has to offer or indeed the exceptional beach just a short stroll away it is for us very very pet friendly. Beds bowls and treats are a norm but restaurant and any place is acceptable proved a delight..

Wonderful location with a walk to beach and swim before dinner. Room was lovely but the hotel was not geared up for hot weather (30 degrees C) winter weight duvet on bed. Fan available but not set up. Complimentary drinks nice in the room fridge but would prefer the room at a more sensible price. Restaurant food was expensive but mediocre at best. Fish was slightly over cooked and very salty, samphire was woody and inedible. Almost £13 for a glass of wine seemed hard to justify. I declined to pay the 15% service charge, added but presented as optional when paying the bill, largely because the staff had no questions and seemed entirely disinterested in my feedback. I have to say - the chef sent a sincere apology for the quality of my food via the waitress. This hotel could be fabulous if those responsible for standards had some interest in feedback, learning, and raising their game.

Greeted warmly and full details given regarding our stay. Had drinks in the garden followed by dinner which was very good. This is not fine dining but really good quality food served in a relaxed manner. Serving staff were very attentive to our needs. Bedroom really comfortable and tea and coffee station was ok. We did have a problem with drainage from our bath but it did not affect our stay at all. I reported it the next morning and staff thanked us for pointing it out. Breakfast was good - lots of choice. We checked out before 11 but left our car there and walked to the Hall which was fascinating. Got back later and then went to Wells Beach. Hotel had given us a token for free parking there which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would go again.
