La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Holbrook Petrified Forest

Stayed here as they appeared to be the newest hotel in town. It was well worth the additional money when compared to another hotel we had stayed in the week before. Room was comfortable and we both slept very comfortably. Temp seemed ok and Bed was good. We had a "roll in" shower that was well designed and didn't flood the room when showering.

There aren't many lodging options in Holbrook, but this is the best of the bunch. It's a no frills, clean place to get some sleep. We used it as a jumping off point to explore Petrified Forest, Painted Desert, Hubbell Trading Post, and Canyon de Chelly. The hotel had a strong smell of cleaning products in the lobby and hallways, but thankfully not in the room. There were a lot of tattooed desert rats checking in with their spawn when we arrived. Luckily our room wasn't near any of them so it was a quiet night for us. Overall it is a fine hotel that is a little more expensive than I would have liked to pay, but there weren't many options. The other hotels/motels in Holbrook looked less than appealing.
