We had a great time visiting the mountains of North Carolina. The accommodations at this inn were excellent. The surrounding outdoor space were well kept with plenty of room. Our room was nice and clean. The common area of this inn has 24 hour access with snacks, games , and magazines available. Our hostess was available to cook a light breakfast and answer any questions about the area. We would stay here again

My husband and I drove up from Orlando to the Highlands. The Inn was very convenient to the RV camp, where my sister was staying. We rented the larger King suite room. Very clean and very comfortable. There was a coffee machine and a refrigerator in the room. But, you could always walk to the main dining area and get coffee there. Breakfast was included with your stay. There was a variety of breakfast choices including homemade blueberry muffins, and delicious banana bread. Julie, the owner couldn’t have been sweeter and Holly was helpful and very nice. I definitely would stay there again.❤️

My Mom and I spent one night at The Brook Trout Inn and we had the best experience! The owner Julie was so very nice from our first contact! We ended up texting about dinner recommendations and she could not have been more helpful and available! She is exactly the person to be running an Inn! When we arrived we arrived and finally met Julie, we felt like we already had known her. She upgraded our room to a suite and made our dinner reservation next door at the Italian restaurant which was amazing!! Our suite was perfect! All if the comforts of home, even a sound machine! After a great nights sleep, we went to the common area for breakfast. What a treat to mingle with Julie, her staff and the other guest. Breakfast can be cooked for you or you just help yourself to the kitchen and frig. I cannot say enough positive about Julie and her Brook Trout Inn! Do yourself a favor and go stay with her!

Love this place. The grounds are beautiful. Friendly atmosphere. Very clean. Location perfect with lots of great places to visit. Plenty of great restaurants around this area. Fishing was amazing.

Hiking group stayed in three rooms. All rooms were clean and large kitchen area in main office was great for late night cake and coffee. We walked next door for delicious dinner. Breakfast was fast and homecooked by Holly. Julie set us up with great rooms! We had eleven in our group, the OWLS. I have stayed here three times and will definitely be back!
