This is my 4th visit in two years and every time I have a wonderful stay. The staff are lovely, always friendly and helpful. I have stayed in 3 different types of rooms during my visits and all are beautiful, always immaculate and clean. The new manager Zeb has made some changes already including the breakfast menu which has definitely improved. This is my home from home when I'm staying in Hoedspruit and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you to all the staff as always for making me so welcome and for another wonderful week at Unembeza.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ukuthula Lodge, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hospitality was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure every aspect of my stay was perfect. The facilities were impeccably clean, adding to the overall comfort and enjoyment of my visit. The food was a highlight of the stay; each meal was delicious and beautifully presented, showcasing a wonderful variety of flavors. The attention to detail and quality in every dish truly stood out. Overall, Ukuthula Lodge exceeded all my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. I look forward to my next visit!

We stayed here after 15 days of self drive / self catering in the Kruger for a spot of relaxation. We used the family cottage which is situated near the main house and pool area. It suited us well for a family of 4 (teen/tween girls). The stairs in the cottage are not for the unsteady though! There is a small kitchen in the cottage, but not much in the way of crockery and utensils, but I’m sure the Lodge would accommodate any requests/needs if asked. There is a good size fridge and freezer. The downstairs twin room has a shower room, with the upstairs double having a bathroom with bath. We had a warm welcome from all the staff and enjoyed home cooked breakfasts and dinners. The food is lovely, with traditional South African dishes served. The Lodge is well organised and efficient, but homely and relaxing at the same time. We would recommend to others and stay again!

They absolutely spoiled us for our anniversary. The staff is friendly and the owner really cares about her guests. I like that they recommended activities we can do. We loved the room, and the bed was super comfy. Absolutely loved the bike riding and being able to see the wildlife.
