Good experience, and the hotel is located in a quiet area, I like that, and it had parking, that was amazing.

Pleasant and clean, didn't spend much time at the location as was on holiday with my partner, very peaceful venue

Really conveniently located for our needs. Nice spacious room Comfortable bed with two options if needed Coffee, tea etc. available when needed. Breakfast although self produce, fave enough options and variety to start the day and journey home. Staff we saw were pleasant and very helpful. Would recommend. Thank you.

Good value for money

Absolutely dreadful. There aren’t enough words to describe how bad this place is Initially given room 21 … stank of dope and the sofa was ripped to shreds and filthy. Certainly not somewhere you could sit …it was just beyond awful. Went to reception to ask for a different room. The receptionist came to look at the room and was clearly embarrassed.. acknowledging the awful smell and the state of the sofa. We were then given room 21. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to move hotels as we were due at a family celebration. Room 21 slightly better and at least no smell. However another ripped sofa. Curtain hanging off the rail. Bits all over the carpet When we returned from our celebration I just couldn’t bring myself to get into the bed… although it did look clean! I slept clothed on top of the covers. The following morning the toilet had leaked! Couldn’t face the breakfast as given the filth of the room was a bit suspect about the kitchen! Upon leaving we did ask for refund but was told that we would have to email the company. I wouldn’t ever recommend this place and would the best advice would be to avoid at all cost. We chose it because of the location of the celebration that we attended. However we have since found that there are many nearby places to stay apparently much better value.

Let's be clear, this hotel is very dated and in need of TLC, however - It's clean and has very friendly staff. The rooms are basic and no frills. It's a very cheap budget hotel and very close to Tilsworth Golf Club (2 mins drive) which is why we chose it as we were attending an event there. It offers toast and cereal for breakfast and of course tea/coffee. There is a vending machine with snacks in the entrance. Pretty seating areas at the front of the hotel. There is a fast food takeaway next to hotel which offers food at a discount in the evening. Yes I've stayed in far more luxurious hotels, and yes it does need some attention but it's clean, warm, comfortable and staff are lovely plus it's cheap! It served it's purpose as close to the venue we were going to. It's our 2nd time using this hotel and we plan to book again next year for the same event. I stayed in room 8 which is ground floor, has 3 beds. A double and 2 singles with a view onto the field.
