A charming historic landmark right on Macquarie Street- close to all landmark interests. I got upgraded to room 6 which was quite comfortable in size. Bed was comfy and nice bathroom. Breakfast is excellent- and included with my booking. Holly and staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. I went on a Bruny Tour - pickup nearby and saw the albino wallabies!

The room provided by this hotel was so bad. The toilet in the room was connected to the room, so I couldn't use the toilet in the middle of the night, otherwise the loud pumping sound would disturb my sleep. In addition, the room I booked had 4A paper on the wall. The room felt uncomfortable at first glance. It looked like a temporary pavilion (a storage space next to the stairs). It felt very bad. .
