Tam Coc Golden Rice

Nestled in a lovely corner of the road yet 5mins walk to amenities and convenience! Surrounded by the beautiful lake, mountains so many lovely restaurants n cafes. The view outside is awesome! Room is big enough for family of 4 with 2 queen beds. However, toilet need some work to separate the wet & dry area else it’s a bit too cold during winter. The lady boss is kind and helpful to help us book a day tour and transport, she even went the extra mile to help us get a discount from the tour package! Very lovely homestay managed by a lovely family.

Overall it was decent (bedroom was big/clean, it was in a good area, AC worked, etc) but the bathroom in our room was terrible. When we arrived we noticed that there were tons of flies (dead and alive) in the bathroom. There were even some coming out of the sink overflow drain. When we tried to use the toilet there was urine already in there that wouldn’t really flush, and water leaked out the side piping onto the floor. When I told the staff, they were able to get someone to come fix it around two hours later. However, the toilet still didn’t flush very well even after it was fixed. We think there was a drainage problem in the bathroom because the sink wouldn’t drain the entire time we were there and the shower drain would clog quickly. Also, there was no hot water in our room. We didn't feel comfortable trying to get the staff to fix these issues because they did not seem happy that we had to keep asking them to fix the toilet the first time around. The woman who worked there was lovely and very friendly. I think it would have been a wonderful stay if not for the bathroom issues as the room itself is nice and clean and the location is good.

We loved our stay at Tam Coc Golden Rice! The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with a fantastic location—just steps away from restaurants, shops, and the Tam Coc boat tour. We would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing room at Tam Coc Golden Rice with 2 huge comfy beds and lots of space. Lovely pool which unfortunately we did not make use of as were too busy doing all the activities around the area. Breakfast options were limited but enough to keep you going certainly. Free bottled water in the room but no safe and the shower wasn’t the best but you won’t find a better location in my opinion. Close enough to all the action but the other side of the lake so was quiet. Push bikes available at 40k Dong a day but seemed to be set in 5th gear with no way to change this so cycling to Trang An was hard going!! Another option was to pay £50k Dong outside for another rental but they’d probably be much the same!

Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Location is beyond quiet and very comfortable. Great price. Highly recommend this hotel. Hope to come back soon.
