The Wilds Guest House is good value for money. With a lovely garden and a lovely room, this makes for a lovely place to stop over. The breakfast was good, but not great and as far as we are concerned, slightly overpriced at R150 per person, over and above the price of the room. Hluhluwe being what it is - a small town - one would have expected that some assistance would be given regarding dinner. If one wants decent coffee upon arrival, The Wilds can not help you. We were too late for the Wimpy (they close at 18:00) and the local hotel would not accommodate people not staying there. After enquiring around town, someone suggested that we go to Llala Weavers (on the outskirts of Hluhluwe, but absolutely worthwhile) where we spent a lovely evening with excellent food, coffee and service. One would have expected at least that a pamphlet be left in the room with possibilities of where dinner could be enjoyed. I can imagine how difficult it would be for foreigners arriving there after a long day, with no idea where a meal could be enjoyed. Now that we know the setup, we will be willing to return there, as the accommodation is very good. But we will be better prepared next time.
