The service and accommodations were every bit as good The people made it great and our tour guide Sibonosa was tremendous. The food amd various “wild” game included the best damn warthog we ever had. We just returned from an absolutely amazing week at Zulu Nyala, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Leigh, was phenomenal — knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the wildlife and environment. Each game drive was a new adventure, and we were lucky to see so many incredible animals up close. One unique aspect is that you’re assigned to a small group for the week, which makes the experience even more special. You share game drives and meals, and by the end of the trip, it really felt like we had formed a little family. We met so many wonderful people and shared countless unforgettable moments together. The accommodations were also a pleasant surprise. We stayed in a tent, but it was more like a luxury suite — complete with solid walls, air conditioning/heating, and a full bathroom. Super comfortable and far beyond what we had imagined! The food was delicious and varied, and every staff member we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The entire environment at Zulu Nyala fosters relaxation, connection, and a sense of adventure. If you’re considering a trip here, do it. Whether you’re a wildlife enthusiast, a couple looking for a unique getaway, or just someone in need of a memorable experience, Zulu Nyala delivers. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime kind of week!

We were there on an auction item with a Non-Profit and found this experience to be magical. We were a party of 6 friends and quickly became friends who those who joined our 6 to make 10 – we felt like a tribe. So much fun! Of course, we think we had the BEST Ranger for the week - Ranger David or as we called him "Sir Harry!" His knowledge of the animals and the birds was outstanding and he kept us on our toes! We had two Safari's a day and we took advantage of all of them. The entire experience was 5 star! The food was good, the rooms were lovely and grounds beautiful! We did a few extra journeys - and found them reasonably priced and worth the time! Hippos were a must see!

Spent a week at this safari lodge. What a wonderful experience. The people were wonderful. They're numerous excursions you can purchase. We did most of them. The hippos in St. Lucia, cheetah rescue, and elephant exhibition with Rambo and Rachelle were excellent. Albert Adendorff was our guide through the entire week. He really made our trip worth while. His knowledge, wit and all around personality was unbelievable. I don't know if you can request a guide at this lodge. I'm just very happy we were paired up with Albert.

This was the best trip I have ever had!! Musa was the most knowledgeable driver and knew exactly where to go to find the animals. Everyone at Zulu Nyala was very friendly. I would definitely return if given the opportunity.
