Yunosawa Kosen

Who would have thought that such an inn would exist in such a place?! Of the three northern Kanto prefectures, Ibaraki Prefecture is always inferior in terms of the appeal of hot springs. But even in Ibaraki, there is an inn that is a member of the Japan Society for Preserving Secret Hot Springs. I was surprised to learn that Yunosawa Onsen is the only one in Ibaraki Prefecture! The inn has an appearance that makes you feel like you've returned to your hometown in the countryside. The landlady's personality also adds to the charm. There is also a mascot dog, which is a must-see for dog lovers. There is only an indoor bath, and no open-air bath. There are not many baths, so it is not enough, but the water is slightly warm, so it is easy to soak in it for a long time. Many of the dishes on the menu use plenty of ingredients from the countryside, and everything was delicious. If I want to meet the landlady again, I would like to visit again.

It was a Saturday in early spring and the inn was full of guests, but everyone comes here for the quiet and tranquil atmosphere, so it doesn't feel lively at all. No matter when you come, you can feel at ease in this quiet and simple inn. However, the bath was quite warm this year. Perhaps this is because there are more families with small children. Personally, I prefer it a little hotter.
