2024/11/29 The weather was cloudy. The view of the Mikuma River from the observation bath in the room was amazing! During dinner, a male staff member explained to me how to present grilled fish, saying that in order to make it look nice, sea fish should be presented with their belly facing forward, and river fish should be presented with their back facing forward, which is called "sea belly, river back." I learned something. I travel to various tourist spots and hot springs every year, but this was the first time I learned about how to present fish. Thank you. The food was delicious, both in the morning and evening!
