Hotel Hiroshima Garden Palace Reviews

Hotel is quite old and there are other organizations in the same building. There was a notice in the hotel room notifying that there were burglaries so guests should ensure their doors are properly closed. That said, they use a key for the door lock and the card is just for electricity. The hotel room has a water dispenser which is great but it becomes a little too bright at night. Amenities in the toilet had toothpaste so I didn’t use them. Lots of vending machines in the lobby.

The hotel is located at a rather quiet and less busy street. From Hiroshima station (north exit), it just takes about 5 minutes walk. If you have the google map on hand, it will be helpful. The front desk staff are nice. The room is also clean and neat. You can get what you need for a trip. You have to leave the room key at the front desk when you are out for security. There are some local small restaurants around. The sightseeing bus and the street car are in the south side of the station, very convenient. I enjoyed this trip.

There is a hot/cold. water dispenser in the room, very functional room with separated area for toilet and shower which is good for travelling with families. Pretty comfortable sleeping on futon for 4 adults, home stay feeling.

The location is really great, it is close to the Hiroshima Station. The building is old, but well kept. The room was clean, and staffs were kind and polite. Recommend it.

Very nice hotel, clean and quiet. It’s only 10mins walk from Hiroshima station. Have to walk to the station for eateries though.

10min from Hiroshima station so good location. Amenities are ok, I wish it had an onsen as I was staying in a Japanese room setting. Rated down on cleanliness as I found a nail under my pillow!

The hotel and service are really good. Good equipment, new and beautiful. Hall is huge. Service is so respectful and polite. They allow me to leave my luggage there before the check in time for free. The room was Japanese style. Very cozy and comfortable. Also very big for one person. It is a nice choice for 1-2 night. Very close to the Hiroshima JR station. Just 10 minutes walking. Very recommended.

It takes about ten minutes to walk to the hotel from Hiroshima Station. The location is convenient and ideal. There are also different items available for purchase in the lobby, including cup noodles, juice, souvenirs, baseball peripheral products, etc. The lobby staff were very polite and polite. When I posted a sign on the back of the door that my room was not to be cleaned, the staff was very considerate and prepared a new set of towels and daily necessities for me.

There was a water server in the room, and both hot and cold water came out. The room was also very clean. Drip coffee bags and tea bags (Darjeeling) were given to us at the front desk.

1️⃣Transportation: The hotel is very close to the north exit of Hiroshima Station, which can be reached within a 10-minute walk. There is a direct bus from Hiroshima Station to the airport limousine bus, Miyajimaguchi, and Takehara, so the location is very convenient. 2️⃣ Large space: The hotel is relatively traditional, and there are Japanese-style rooms. I stayed in both Japanese and Western-style rooms because of the segmented accommodation. The Japanese-style is larger than the Western-style room, and you can roll on the floor and spread out large suitcases at the same time. The size of the Western-style room is also far larger than that of ordinary Japanese hotels. 3️⃣ Facilities: After all, it is an old hotel, so there are a few charging heads at the bedside, and it is best to bring your own multi-function power strip. The water dispenser in the room is very convenient, with ice water and 80-degree hot water. However, there will be the sound of the water dispenser working at night, and you can turn off the main switch if you mind.

The facility has a retro feel, but is clean and comfortable to stay in. It is also close to Hiroshima Station, making it convenient for transportation.
