The center of Hiroshima was expensive and I didn't feel like it in the budget, but it was good that I was able to stay cheaply because it was not so far from Hiroshima station. The room was clean and I was happy with the coffee service in the lobby. But I was actually full of schedules and I didn't have time to drink slowly. Next time, I would like to plan the time to drink coffee slowly and take care of it. There were also several connecting trains from Hiroshima Station １ at an hour, so I didn't feel any inconvenience.

Overall, the place was outstanding. First of all, they offered free breakfast, which was a very intimate benefit. Although the English skills of the service staff were slightly inadequate, their warmth and kindness were impressive. They are always happy to help whenever there is a problem or need. During our stay, they made sure we had a comfortable stay and that made us very grateful. Also, this place is located in Hiroshima, which is a great choice. Hiroshima is definitely worth a visit with its rich cultural and natural landscapes. You can visit historic temples, admire magnificent mountains and beautiful beaches, and taste local cuisine. The place is easily accessible and you can easily access nearby attractions and restaurants. All in all, if you have the opportunity to come to Hiroshima, I highly recommend this place as your accommodation choice. It not only provides comfort and intimate service, but also allows you to explore this beautiful place easily. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure holiday, this is a very good choice.

Considering this price, other shortcomings can be forgiven, but if it is a single person, the price advantage is not big, and there are more and better choices. The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious, probably due to the relatively deserted place, and dinner is also provided. How the taste is not known, but the price is very beautiful. For the shortcomings, first, the location is relatively biased, except for seven and the whole family (the whole family is far away), almost nothing, but the hotel is five minutes to Hiroshima Station, there is a Shinkansen slow line (kodama), basically an hour, check the time, It is not troublesome to go to Hiroshima city and surrounding area (you need to buy jrpass, otherwise the transportation fee is too expensive), the second bed is 1.5 meters, a little small, and the bed is not placed against the wall, it feels more crowded to sleep with the child, the third is also the most deadly, the quilt is not quilt cover (I wonder why this is the case), I feel that after the guest checkout, the cockroach is folded neatly and covers the quilt that others have covered. I am really difficult to accept. In the end, I don't cover anything to sleep. I hope the quilt cover problem can be solved, so I will consider staying in the future.

The Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel delivers from beginning to end regarding service and location. I had the chance to stay one night in early June before heading next morning to Okunoshima, and it was highly worth it. Next to Hiroshima Station, this location is a must. In addition, the quality of service provided by each member, either at the front desk or Club Lounge, was excellent. Daisuke in the Club Lounge was helpful and went above and beyond to assist during my stay. Regarding the room, I highly recommend booking a Club Level room or suite. The panoramic views of Hiroshima are amazing, but the room is exceptionally comfortable. I had the chance to stay in a suite, approximately 750 sq. ft., which was quite comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was spacious, and the bathtub was worth it after a long day or walk in the city. I also recommend the spa facilities in the hotel. If you pay around 1,650 Yen, you can use the pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and cold bath. This is a great activity to relax and disconnect from reality fully. I enjoyed my time there and would return if I had the chance. Overall, it was a great stay, and thankful for the generosity and excellent customer service provided by the team in this hotel.

We moved to this hostel after an awful stay for the same price on the other side of town. I haven’t got a bad word to say about akicafe apart from that the coffee shop downstairs closes on Tuesday and Wednesday (the two days we stayed!) we eventually got to sample the coffee on the day of check out and it was the best coffee I have had in Japan. The dorms are so well designed in a capsule format with lights, plugs, a fan and lockers all built into your own bunk. It’s so private and you can’t hear anyone else once your in with the curtain shut. The toilet and shower facilities are spotless with all toiletries provided. The station is so close it makes a great base for day trips. All in all a fabulous hostel I would stay here again.

Room was small but enough for a solo traveller like me. To my surprise, there was even a microwave in the room. Everything was neat and tidy, and the staff at the front desk was nice and helpful. On the top floor, there was a public hot spring bath, but I did not use it. Outside the hot spring bath, there were drinking water fountains and vending machines, one of which dedicated to selling milk and dairy products. You could enjoy the Japanese culture of drinking milk - correct me if I am wrong (at least this was what I learnt from Japanese animes and dramas) - after taking the hot spring. Overall the experience was great.

A really nice modern hotel with clean and stylish rooms although rather compact. Breakfast had a nice selection of Japanese and Western options. The Riverside cafe was still closed following Covid however the hotel is a short walk to Hiroshima Train Station which has a wonderful food hall and there's a Family Mart down the street. Shukkeien Gardens is close by and worth a visit. Service and staff great. Will definitely stay here again.
