Hotels near Hikarimachi Park, Hiroshima

We only stayed here for one night. The room was small but the bathroom was spacious and modern. Whether staying for one night or several nights, this is a good choice for staying in Hiroshima. It is very close to the JR station (five minutes away), and you can also take the city sightseeing bus. If you have a JR pass card, you can take the bus to the Miyajima Ferry for free. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers free breakfast (with plenty of choices if you want something different). Laundry service is also free (you just have to go to the front desk and buy soap for 50 yen). Definitely a great choice for accommodation in Hiroshima.

It is a good hotel with good access to walk from Hiroshima Station １０ minutes. The appearance is normal, but there are many mysterious interiors such as lobby and passage, and the survival of the bubble with medieval Europe motif ... never bad It's strange to match the hotel. There is also a comic book lending library and a washing machine. The room is clean and the unit bus is no problem. There is also a convenience store nearby, so there is no problem.

We moved to this hostel after an awful stay for the same price on the other side of town. I haven’t got a bad word to say about akicafe apart from that the coffee shop downstairs closes on Tuesday and Wednesday (the two days we stayed!) we eventually got to sample the coffee on the day of check out and it was the best coffee I have had in Japan. The dorms are so well designed in a capsule format with lights, plugs, a fan and lockers all built into your own bunk. It’s so private and you can’t hear anyone else once your in with the curtain shut. The toilet and shower facilities are spotless with all toiletries provided. The station is so close it makes a great base for day trips. All in all a fabulous hostel I would stay here again.

Very easy and convenient to book on Trip.com. Hotel location is very convenient as it is less than 19 minutes walk from the Hiroshima Station. Room was clean and cosy. Reception staff was friendly and helpful.

A really nice modern hotel with clean and stylish rooms although rather compact. Breakfast had a nice selection of Japanese and Western options. The Riverside cafe was still closed following Covid however the hotel is a short walk to Hiroshima Train Station which has a wonderful food hall and there's a Family Mart down the street. Shukkeien Gardens is close by and worth a visit. Service and staff great. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Hotel Vista for 2 nights, it was around a 7-10 minute tram ride on the 1,2 or 6 tram and a 5 minute walk to get there from Hiroshima station. It is situated a couple of minutes away from the main shopping area and a 15 minute walk from the Atomic Dome. The room was well sized, clean and comfortable, the staff were also friendly. This is the perfect place to base yourself in Hiroshima.

Situated only a couple of minutes walk from Hondori shopping street and about 10 minutes walk, depending on if you’re a snail pace walker or someone who walks as fast as an angry mother who’s about to complain to the school board about something, from the Peace Memorial Park lies Santiago Guest House. A hostel that is a bit of a pain to find with it only being sign posted by those hanging signs attached to high rise buildings that are literally everywhere in Japan. With said buildings hosting separate businesses on each floor, it may stress you out finding it but upon entry the stress will go bye bye from its general aesthetically pleasing outlook. A modern and polished looked hostel who’s reception lies right next the common room and kitchen area, giving everyone in there a look at the fresh meat coming in. The common area and reception give a friendly vibe out from the on set with bean bags, couches, two TVs (one with a PlayStation 3) and shelves holding games and cuddly toys for you to spoon like they’re your partner whilst watching a rom com on Netflix. Generally the 6th floor where there is one dorm room and the kitchen and common area is quality. The kitchen is a little small in size but it does the job plus you’re in Japan where bento boxes are a way of life. Plus you can always just jaunt to the local supermarket- Yours- between 8:15 – 8:40pm where the bento boxes, salad and sushi goes half price, which the foreign helpers for free accommodation do pretty much every night. The facility was very clean, and the baths and sauna were relaxing! The complimentary ice cream after the bath and the late-night noodles were also great. The breakfast served included local dishes, and was as great as rumored! I'd like to stay at Dormy Inn hotels all over Japan again. The staff were all very kind and polite.

The bedlinen is super soft to sleep on. Nice river views too right in front of my room. Love the location too. Very close to all the attraction I needed to go. We love this hotel very much. Thumb up for this hotel.
