Hotels near Fukuya Hiroshima station square store, Hiroshima

We moved to this hostel after an awful stay for the same price on the other side of town. I haven’t got a bad word to say about akicafe apart from that the coffee shop downstairs closes on Tuesday and Wednesday (the two days we stayed!) we eventually got to sample the coffee on the day of check out and it was the best coffee I have had in Japan. The dorms are so well designed in a capsule format with lights, plugs, a fan and lockers all built into your own bunk. It’s so private and you can’t hear anyone else once your in with the curtain shut. The toilet and shower facilities are spotless with all toiletries provided. The station is so close it makes a great base for day trips. All in all a fabulous hostel I would stay here again.

The Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel delivers from beginning to end regarding service and location. I had the chance to stay one night in early June before heading next morning to Okunoshima, and it was highly worth it. Next to Hiroshima Station, this location is a must. In addition, the quality of service provided by each member, either at the front desk or Club Lounge, was excellent. Daisuke in the Club Lounge was helpful and went above and beyond to assist during my stay. Regarding the room, I highly recommend booking a Club Level room or suite. The panoramic views of Hiroshima are amazing, but the room is exceptionally comfortable. I had the chance to stay in a suite, approximately 750 sq. ft., which was quite comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was spacious, and the bathtub was worth it after a long day or walk in the city. I also recommend the spa facilities in the hotel. If you pay around 1,650 Yen, you can use the pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and cold bath. This is a great activity to relax and disconnect from reality fully. I enjoyed my time there and would return if I had the chance. Overall, it was a great stay, and thankful for the generosity and excellent customer service provided by the team in this hotel.

Very clean and the traffic is very convenient. Just get off at the Yinshanyu Station of Radio and Television. This station can also take Line 2 directly to Miyajimakou. Shopping is also very close, there is a convenience store downstairs, you can store your luggage, you can also help pre-collect your luggage. I stayed in a single room this time. One person and one room are large enough. Everything is new. The public space is also very clean and beautiful. The hotel is also very intimate. There are a lot of lotion lotion cotton pads in the dressing room. The only thing to note is that the door of the single room is just a curtain, and you must be mentally prepared.

We stayed in Hotel Vista for 2 nights, it was around a 7-10 minute tram ride on the 1,2 or 6 tram and a 5 minute walk to get there from Hiroshima station. It is situated a couple of minutes away from the main shopping area and a 15 minute walk from the Atomic Dome. The room was well sized, clean and comfortable, the staff were also friendly. This is the perfect place to base yourself in Hiroshima.

The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the Peace Park and a 30-minute walk from JR Hiroshima Station, nearby there is a large FUJI GRAND supermarket and a DON QUIJOTE discount store. Newly renovated rooms in European style. Blackout curtains, soft wide beds, good sleep. There is a niche under the bed to store a suitcase, which is very convenient. Spacious bathroom with shower, good water pressure, but it is difficult to adjust the water temperature, cold water suddenly flows, very unpleasant. The air conditioner made an unpleasant noise when operating, the room was immediately changed. The windows do not open at all, but there is a supply ventilation valve. Slippers, bathrobes, and disposable supplies are provided. There are washing machines and dryers on the 3rd floor; laundry detergent can be obtained from the reception. The breakfast is excellent, there are many Asian dishes, also boiled vegetables and neutral foods without spices. It's a pity that they don't provide drinking water for guests, only a vending machine in the lobby. There is also a microwave in the lobby. The staff is very polite and tries to help resolve issues.

Situated only a couple of minutes walk from Hondori shopping street and about 10 minutes walk, depending on if you’re a snail pace walker or someone who walks as fast as an angry mother who’s about to complain to the school board about something, from the Peace Memorial Park lies Santiago Guest House. A hostel that is a bit of a pain to find with it only being sign posted by those hanging signs attached to high rise buildings that are literally everywhere in Japan. With said buildings hosting separate businesses on each floor, it may stress you out finding it but upon entry the stress will go bye bye from its general aesthetically pleasing outlook. A modern and polished looked hostel who’s reception lies right next the common room and kitchen area, giving everyone in there a look at the fresh meat coming in. The common area and reception give a friendly vibe out from the on set with bean bags, couches, two TVs (one with a PlayStation 3) and shelves holding games and cuddly toys for you to spoon like they’re your partner whilst watching a rom com on Netflix. Generally the 6th floor where there is one dorm room and the kitchen and common area is quality. The kitchen is a little small in size but it does the job plus you’re in Japan where bento boxes are a way of life. Plus you can always just jaunt to the local supermarket- Yours- between 8:15 – 8:40pm where the bento boxes, salad and sushi goes half price, which the foreign helpers for free accommodation do pretty much every night. Fantastic hotel, opened just 9 months ago, still smells new. Located 10 minute bus trip from Hiroshima station and 15 minute walk from the peace museum/park. Stayed in beautiful one bedroom suite on 21st floor (second highest). Great view of the city through panoramic windows. Staff very friendly, engaging in small talk, specially when they see you are wait for example at the reception. Great breakfast choice, egg station. You can order to table some extra drinks like mango juice and waffles. Executive lounge located on 22nd floor, also great views. Lounge looking nice, with tables quite cramped. As far as food is concerned, I think one of the best Hilton lounges I recall. Choice of number of small sandwiches, cheese, cold meats, salads, beef stew, sweets etc. Swimming pool, dry sauna and large jacuzzi available.

The facility was very clean, and the baths and sauna were relaxing! The complimentary ice cream after the bath and the late-night noodles were also great. The breakfast served included local dishes, and was as great as rumored! I'd like to stay at Dormy Inn hotels all over Japan again. The staff were all very kind and polite.

The bedlinen is super soft to sleep on. Nice river views too right in front of my room. Love the location too. Very close to all the attraction I needed to go. We love this hotel very much. Thumb up for this hotel.

Check-In/Out was easy:) Staff was awesome overall:) Check- In young woman spoke good English, Check-Out gentleman spoke none:( Comfortable Queen bed for wife and myself, yet, one side pushed against wall. Pillows were FLAT and terrible, maybe some of the worse I’ve come across in my travels😳 Plenty of hot shower water, yet bathroom is real small! Room is also small, but welcome to Japan😉 Breakfast was quite the spread, but Japanese style items, not much to for our likings. It was close to Peace Park😀 It was a one night stop and traveling out of a backpack, it worked!
