3 minutes from the tram stop, not the kind of hotel that will open a party, everyone is very quiet, the sheets and pillowcases are laid by themselves. There is a kitchen where you can cook and boil water, bring your own dental appliances, and rent 200 yen for bath towels.

The breakfast is very good, with a wide variety of options, including live-fried steaks and Hiroshima specialty conger eels. Sometimes it is soft and tender steamed conger eels; sometimes it is crispy conger eel tempura. You can enjoy it as soon as you open your eyes! Most of the hotel guests are European and American tourists. Although the restaurant is crowded, it is not noisy. The gym is free to use, but you need to go to the front desk to get a door card. Compared with the spacious gyms in domestic hotels, the gyms in Japanese hotels are mostly too compact, and the equipment is almost seamlessly connected. Although there are IHG InterContinental Hotel member logos everywhere in the hotel, no matter what star rating, there is no trea**ent here, neither room upgrades nor executive lounge access.

Situated only a couple of minutes walk from Hondori shopping street and about 10 minutes walk, depending on if you’re a snail pace walker or someone who walks as fast as an angry mother who’s about to complain to the school board about something, from the Peace Memorial Park lies Santiago Guest House. A hostel that is a bit of a pain to find with it only being sign posted by those hanging signs attached to high rise buildings that are literally everywhere in Japan. With said buildings hosting separate businesses on each floor, it may stress you out finding it but upon entry the stress will go bye bye from its general aesthetically pleasing outlook. A modern and polished looked hostel who’s reception lies right next the common room and kitchen area, giving everyone in there a look at the fresh meat coming in. The common area and reception give a friendly vibe out from the on set with bean bags, couches, two TVs (one with a PlayStation 3) and shelves holding games and cuddly toys for you to spoon like they’re your partner whilst watching a rom com on Netflix. Generally the 6th floor where there is one dorm room and the kitchen and common area is quality. The kitchen is a little small in size but it does the job plus you’re in Japan where bento boxes are a way of life. Plus you can always just jaunt to the local supermarket- Yours- between 8:15 – 8:40pm where the bento boxes, salad and sushi goes half price, which the foreign helpers for free accommodation do pretty much every night. The bedlinen is super soft to sleep on. Nice river views too right in front of my room. Love the location too. Very close to all the attraction I needed to go. We love this hotel very much. Thumb up for this hotel.

From the former local people, I was able to stay at the ”health pension hall”? The image of the hall is strong, but it feels like a cheap price zone in the pack tour now. It is close to Peace Park, but the location is halfway and the city trams are not available. However, because it is a main street to the residential area sandwiched between the city trams, the bus is very frequent and it is not early at night, but you can ride almost without a timetable. In front of the hotel, the route 24 of the red bus (Hiroshima bus) and the Yoshishima line (Hiroshima station ～ hachichobori ～ Kamiya Cho ~ Peace Park) pass through the main area at the stop called 'kakomachi' (next to peace park), so it is worth using as well as the city tram It should be quite old, but it doesn't look old and the building is relatively clean I think the room is renovated and spacious and comfortable. I think it is better than the hotel in the center, but because it is a business hotel, the amenities are small, and the soundproofing measures such as the wall are poor. The elementary school student on the day of the school excursion occupied the floor below, but the sound of running around seemed to be quite echoing, and there are many student groups depending on the day as the hotel name.

A really nice modern hotel with clean and stylish rooms although rather compact. Breakfast had a nice selection of Japanese and Western options. The Riverside cafe was still closed following Covid however the hotel is a short walk to Hiroshima Train Station which has a wonderful food hall and there's a Family Mart down the street. Shukkeien Gardens is close by and worth a visit. Service and staff great. Will definitely stay here again.

Very easy and convenient to book on Trip.com. Hotel location is very convenient as it is less than 19 minutes walk from the Hiroshima Station. Room was clean and cosy. Reception staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was small but enough for a solo traveller like me. To my surprise, there was even a microwave in the room. Everything was neat and tidy, and the staff at the front desk was nice and helpful. On the top floor, there was a public hot spring bath, but I did not use it. Outside the hot spring bath, there were drinking water fountains and vending machines, one of which dedicated to selling milk and dairy products. You could enjoy the Japanese culture of drinking milk - correct me if I am wrong (at least this was what I learnt from Japanese animes and dramas) - after taking the hot spring. Overall the experience was great.

If you stay at a business hotel with three families, there are many places to add extra beds to the twin room, but this hotel has an adjacent twin room and a double room in the room connectivity There was a connecting room connected by the gingdoor, so it was very comfortable to stay with family 3 people. The bathroom used a large twin room and the toilet used both. Breakfast buffet was not luxurious, but it was a good content for the price. The hotel parking lot is on the 4th floor ～ 8th floor of EKI City Hiroshima opposite the hotel. Going to 1F by B elevator from the parking lot and going out in front of the hotel. Parking fee is 1,200 yen per night and will be paid at the hotel front desk at check-in. It is not a luxurious hotel, but it is located in a good location to access the station, there is also a parking lot, and the accommodation fee and breakfast fee were cheap, and it was able to stay in a clean and relaxing room. I thought it was a very good hotel considering the cost performance.

The Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel delivers from beginning to end regarding service and location. I had the chance to stay one night in early June before heading next morning to Okunoshima, and it was highly worth it. Next to Hiroshima Station, this location is a must. In addition, the quality of service provided by each member, either at the front desk or Club Lounge, was excellent. Daisuke in the Club Lounge was helpful and went above and beyond to assist during my stay. Regarding the room, I highly recommend booking a Club Level room or suite. The panoramic views of Hiroshima are amazing, but the room is exceptionally comfortable. I had the chance to stay in a suite, approximately 750 sq. ft., which was quite comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was spacious, and the bathtub was worth it after a long day or walk in the city. I also recommend the spa facilities in the hotel. If you pay around 1,650 Yen, you can use the pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and cold bath. This is a great activity to relax and disconnect from reality fully. I enjoyed my time there and would return if I had the chance. Overall, it was a great stay, and thankful for the generosity and excellent customer service provided by the team in this hotel.
