The dinner was fantastic, totally way out of the expectation. Quality of the food was great, presentation was a feast for the eyes, and the taste was just superb. Room had no shower and you had to shower downstairs in the common bath, which had only one pool that was too hot. No view to speak of. The room was reasonably sized. Breakfast was a mix of Japanese and western dishes. Quite the value for money!

The hotel is family run and the landlord is very friendly. The service was excellent, responsive and smiling. The breakfast is rich. There is a izakaya Guu nearby, the owner is very kind to the neighbors and diners.
Very close to Motsuji Temple and Chusonji Temple.

An incredible stay, a comfortable room, and probably the best dinner we had during our time in Japan. Breakfast was delicious too.

A very comfortable place to stay and conveniently located to visit the temples of Hiraizumi. We walked from the ryokan. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food for breakfast and dinner was superb. The presentation of the food was exquisite.

It was great. I stayed at Chusonji Temple for one night. The surrounding environment is very good. I couldn't finish breakfast and dinner. The service was very warm. More than 900 for breakfast and dinner, so worth it.
