Das Hotel liegt günstig ein paar Fahrminuten vom Skigebiet entfernt. Das Hotel an sich wiederum befindet sich in einem beeindruckenden Gebäude in einem alten Stift. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Familienzimmer (2 Räume getrennt), sauber und modern. Es gibt eine Sauna zur Entspannung nach dem Skifahren. Soweit alles gut. Allein: die Qualität des Essen. Ist eher Jugendherberge als Hotel.

Ein sehr nettes Hotel in alt-ehrwürdigen Mauern, freundlicher Empfang, ein schönes, sauberes und modern eingerichtetes, geräumiges Zimmer. Das Abendessen war sehr gut, man konnte am Buffet aus drei verschiedenen Gerichten auswählen und wir hatten einen Tisch im Wintergarten - sehr fein. Auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Es gibt auch einiges an Freizeit-Indoor-Angeboten - Tischtennis, Tischfussball, Airhockey, Bücher, ein Klettergerüst für kleinere, Spiele etc. Man kann es also auch bei Schlechwetter gut aushalten. Wir waren nur auf Zwischenstopp für eine Nacht dort, haben vor der Abreise noch das 8000er-Museum besucht - ein nettes kleines Museum über Bergsteigen in großen Höhen und Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, mit der Tourismuskarte inkl. Einzig irritiert hat mich der Tischfussballtisch, bei dem man nach Einwurf von Eur 1,- nur einen einzigen Ball erhält. Normalerweise kommen da 8 - 10 Bälle raus ... Auf Nachfrage wurde der eine Ball als normal angesehen. Wir werden jedenfalls irgendwann wieder dort übernachten!

Die Zimmer waren nicht allzu groß (vorgegeben da es früher ein Stift war), aber für 2 Nächte ausreichend. Für manche war das Rauschen des vorbeifließenden Baches zu laut, mich hat es nicht gestört. Das Frühstück bot große Auswahl und das Abendessen in Buffet-Form war sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat versucht all unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Trotz Gruppenbuchung war Einzelzahlung mittels Karte möglich (war bisher bei meinen JUFA-Aufenthalten nicht möglich). Die inkludierte Pyhrn-Priel Karte beinhaltete gratis Benutzung der Seilbahnen (z.B. Wurzeralm und Hinterstoder) und Museen (z.B. Schloss Trautenfels) in der Umgebung.

Tolles Ambiente, super Service, sehr nettes Personal. Als Familie mit 3 Kindern fühlt man sich hier genau richtig. Sehr viel Auswahl am Buffet, incl. vegan und Kinder-Lieblingsessen. Eines der besten Jufa-Hotels! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Der Saunabereich ist superschön. Geräumig, hell, freundlich. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich war darum bemüht alle Wünsche, und wenn sie noch so ausgefallen waren, zu erfüllen. Gutes Essen, leckeres Frühstück.

Wir wurden von allen Mitarbeitern freundlich begrüßt. Zimmer waren sauber und alles vorhanden was man braucht. Essen war sehr gut. Warmes Buffet mit netter Bedienung. Gegend ist sehr schön. Skibushaltestelle vor der Tür. Wir kommen wieder.

Truly lovely hotel set in a former Abbey. Beautifully restored, we had a large 2 bedroom suite, food was really good, all staff friendly. They have the use of ski busses to nearest two resorts, we did not use, as driving suited our timings better. Spa area was really nice but busy in the evenings. Good kids area with Table Tennis, Air Hockey and Pool tables.
