Just come back from a lovely stay at this hotel! 100% worth a five star rating! All the staff were friendly and very attentive during dinner and breakfast ( but not overbearing) and every room was spotlessly clean. Food every night was gorgeous and enjoyed every single meal we ate there. Couldn’t be closer to the ski lift, about two arms reach away once outside!!! Also had amazing spa/ chill areas which was very needed after a long day on the slopes. Small hotel but exactly what we wanted, no noise, clean, friendly staff and beautiful food! Very well ran and would definitely return here if skiing in the area again. Made our family holiday so much more special, thank you hotel Almrausch ＜3

Recently back from a family ski trip staying at Hotel Almrausch. Small family run hotel which was spotlessly clean. The location of this hotel simply could not have been any better. Its literally 15 steps away from a t bar lift which is accessed from a side door with lift directly from the boot/ski locker room. Rooms were very clean and the showers were fantastic pressure and very hot. Lighting could have been a bit brighter in the bedrooms but not a big problem. Food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were just the right level of attentive. The only downside for us was the bar area is not very big and as we were in three seperate bedrooms, there wasnt really anywhere to sit together in the evenings. Again not a big problem as we were all so tired from the days skiing, we went to bed fairly early. The bedrooms are very well sound insulated and we didnt hear any noise from other hotel guests (including our noisy son in the next door room!) The spa area was a very nice bonus after a days skiing although it was requested that you didnt wear swimming costumes in there. Realise this is an Austrian thing and you should embrace it, which my husband did but I just didnt feel comfortable with it so stayed in costume! but sat on towels which there was an ample amount of in spa area. Obviously being a small hotel, it might not have had as many facilites as one of the many larger hotels in the resort but think the difference with it was the service, which I just dont believe you get in a large hotel. The ski area of Hinterglemm and Saalbach is fantastic. So many lifts and runs. Think our longest queue was 1 minute but then we wasnt there in half term! Overall, I would 100% recommend this hotel. Thankyou to all the staff who made our family ski trip a very enjoyable one.

Just returned from a brilliant stay at this lovely hotel. It is situated at the quieter end of Hinterglemm which suited us perfectly as not bothered but any noise but just a short walk to the Gondolas or you can hop on the drag lift next door. The ski bus to Saalbach is also stops just across the street. Our room was a little small and could perhaps benefit from a bit more storage but it was very cosy, had an amazing shower and was cleaned to a fantastic standard every single day. The wellness area is very relaxing with 2 saunas, an infrared cabin and a steam room. I liked to get there early and most days had it to myself which was bliss. The food was excellent and the staff worked extremely hard to get everyone fed promptly. We especially enjoyed the buffet evenings. The hotel is also making great use of technology with touch screen lifts and smart tvs in the room. The ski room is very large and you get a secure locker per room. Thanks for a lovely stay and if we found ourselves in the area again, we would not hesitate to stay again.

Sauna afdeling i kælderen med forskellige sauna.
Meget god mad. Kokken laver også frisk omelet om morgenen.
Tæt ved lift (gåafstand, der er ca 350 skridt til liften)

Das familiengeführte Hotel Almrausch ist ein tolles Beispiel für Gastfreundlichkeit und Liebe zur Hotellerie. Selbst wenn es etwas voller ist, die Familie und Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam und helfen von Herzen gern. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet und die Matratzen wirklich bequem. Absolut herausragende ist das Essen! Sie sollten unbedingt das Abendessen mit buchen! Hier können Sie aus verschiedenen Menüs wählen. Es gab nie eine Enttäuschung. Der Sauna Bereich ist zwar klein, aber sehr schön gestaltet und während unseres Aufenthaltes nie überlaufen gewesen. Das Hotel selbst ist super gelegen, man kann sämtliche Lifte zu Fuß erreichen. Mit der Joker Card hatten wir tolle Wandertage, aber auch für Biker ist das Hotel mit eigener Fahrrad-Waschmöglichkeit und Lagerraum gut ausgestattet. Wir kommen definitiv wieder hierher wenn wir in der Nähe sind!

We waren in hotel Almrausch voor een weekje skivakantie. Zeer goed hotel, heel propere kamer, mooie wellness. Ontbijtbuffet ook met veel keuze, avondeten heel lekker ( keuze tussen verschillende gerechten). Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Skikelder met aparte afsluitbare kasten per kamer voor ski's en skibotten, en handige lift naar straatniveau. Sleeplift ligt naast het hotel, dus 5 meter wandelen en je staat al op de piste. Ook een grotere skilift op slechts 3 minuten wandelen. Indien nodig kan je ook de skibus nemen, halte is ook vlakbij het hotel. En het skigebied is zeer uitgebreid, wij hadden heel goede sneeuw en mooi weer
