We were shown the first room which had a large brown mark in the bath and water on the floor,I was told that the bath had just been repaired, the second room we were shown had no heating, we were then offered a free upgrade to a room that had been refurbished, but that room was not finished with doors missing of wardrobe. We then moved to another hotel I spoke to the manager of the Himley Country Hotel who refused a refund. It looked like they had refurbished one room, took pictures, and the used those to promote the hotel. After 21 years in the hotel industry this was the worst experience of customer service from a manager that I have ever experienced. I wished i had taken photos Ps Stairs to second level really steep
