Excellent service, staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well furnished and clean. Delicious breakfast. The architecture from Duiker is magnificent. It is in fact a "Grand hotel". Just a notice: Duiker and Bijvoet are not the architects of the van Nelle factory as it is indicated on a plate in the hotel.

Wat een geweldig hotel is dit, het begon al dat we met de oltimer wilden gaan en belden of hij ergens veilig kon staan, dat werd direct geregeld, we mochten hem op priveterrein zetten. Daar aangekomen werd ons perfect de weg gewezen hoe we daar heen moesten rijden. Toen we onze suite zagen viel onze mond open van verbazing, zo mooi dat ik me bijna de koningin voelde, prachtig, ruim en zeer schoon, van alle gemakken voorzien. Het personeel was zeer gastvrij en erg bereidwillig. Ook kregen we een leuke rondleiding door het zeer leuke theater uit 1935, daar mijn man altijd in het theater gewerkt heeft. Het ontbijt was lekker en de accomodatie super, kortom een echte aanrader. We zijn al in veel hotels geweest maar dit hotel staat nu bij ons op nr1

Ik heb inmiddels een aantal keer in Gooiland Hotel verbleven en het is elke keer weer een fijne ervaring. De kamers zijn ruim en comfortabel, het personeel is hartelijk en professioneel, en de sfeer is ontspannen en gastvrij. Het gebouw zelf is prachtig – een markant voorbeeld van Hilversumse architectuur dat echt bijdraagt aan de beleving. Het hotel biedt op dit moment ook onderdak aan asielzoekers, in een aparte vleugel. Dat heeft totaal geen impact op je verblijf – het voelt niet anders dan verblijven tussen internationale gasten in een stadshotel. Iedereen die je tegenkomt is vriendelijk en rustig. Wat mij betreft versterkt het juist het open en menselijke karakter van deze plek. Kortom: een stijlvol, comfortabel hotel waar ik weer met plezier terugkom.

Stijlvol, monumentaal hotel. Goed, compleet ontbijbuffet. Leuk personeel. We werden met het ontbijt nog extra verwend met een opgemaakt bordje met een pancake. Het extraatje was dat we nog een korte rondleiding kregen, bij onder meer het theater van het hotel, waarbij we interessante weetjes hoorden. De tweepersoons kamer was wel een beetje aan de krappe kant voor ons.

We had visited before in 2019 so knew that we would love the hotel and particularly our room 323. However, our visit was blighted by the fact that I became quite ill on the Friday night and by Saturday morning desperately needed a course of prescription medication. Fortunately, receptionist Madelief immediately got on the case, enabled me to speak to a doctor and within a short time I was able to pick up a course of strong antibiotics from the hospital pharmacy. I needed to spend Saturday night in our room (insisted that my other half joined our friends as planned for reunion dinner), but in pleasant surroundings it was not that difficult. The antibiotics had started to kick in, so I drifted in and out of sleep as the dreadful Eurovision Song Contest played out on TV. Thank you Madelief and Lukas for your kindness. Without your help the story might have had a different, not too pleasant ending. Hopefully, we shall be able to return to the Gooiland, to our favourite room, soon.

Leuk hotel. Jammer dat er vooraf niet gemeld wordt dat het een asielzoekerscentrum is. Daarnaast van de naastgelegen kroeg veel geluidsoverlast, dat verklaard de oordoppen die klaarliggen. Jammer van de €260,- die we betaald hebben voor een nacht.
