My first inclination would have been to rate this a 5 but after staying the night I decided to address a few things: Pros: Very Clean, quiet, comfortable bed, and good shower temp/water pressure. Cons: First, Breakfast service was poor. There were no eggs, sausage or other meat items available in the service pans when we went to breakfast. We made do with other items on the service counter, i.e.baguette, toast, etc., but the attendant did not appear for more than 20 minutes to refill the eggs and by that time we had we were finished. Secondly. I noted a Service Fee of $6 tacked on to my bill. According to the website, the fee was for bottled water (there was none in our room), and a discount dining coupon and area information booklet. There was a travel information brochure rack in the lobby which is found in just about every hotel in Indian/Kentucky at no charge, but as far as a booklet in the room or provided at check out, nothing. As a Choice rewards member, I have not seen this before and it comes across as an excuse to pad the hotel bill with just an extra empty fee.

Free Breakfast was Low Quality. Cable TV outdated. Spectrum cable offered no premium Channels, no HBO. STARZ, HULU, PRIME, nothing. Old outdated cable. Placed Noisy, Loud, guests in same area. Stay was not relaxing. Bed cover linen Old; No monies on Quality upgrade. Chairs in Rooms old with chair seats near 2 ft below table. Furniture Old. When you walk into the room you see clean, but Old and Cheap. Bed pillows were nice.

I could hear every step/stomp that the person in the room above us made. The noisy ceiling made it hard to sleep. Other than that, it’s an okay place to stay if you don’t need any frills.

Accidentally booked 1 day less than we needed, however the staff were immensely helpful in helping us book another nights stay! The facilities were always clean. Staying here was very enjoyable.

Very clean!
The owners are really committed to cleanliness and I could tell they are present and involved. Although the property is not modern, it was fine for my needs. For the price, the cleanliness and prompt service would make me return.
