Valerie and Ken were amazing host. The Manor was impeccable. Breakfast was always served with a smile and absolutely delicious as we embarked upon long energy filled days exploring Ireland’s finest. Any question we had, any advice we were given, was answered with the most knowledge and heartfelt sincerity. Ireland is an amazing country with super caring people .Some of the kindness we’ve ever encountered Hopefully,someday we can visit Valerie and Ken again . Teddy the cockapoo was an added bonus that gave us that puppy love that we missed from our own pups that were back in the states. Thank you Valerie and Ken for giving your best to the visitors of your splendid home.

Stayed with my wife and can recommend Drum Manor wholeheartedly. Bedroom was good size and spotlessly clean with a large ensuite. The shower had good pressure and good quality toiletries provided (Occitane). Lovely Views from bedroom out over Belfast and it's surrounding hills. We went for the fried breakfast but also had Muesli, Fresh fruit, Strawberries in season, melon, orange, grapes and good quality Greek Yogurt. Toast Tea and Coffee. All of good quality. Valerie and her husband were great hosts, friendly and hospitable, and very helpful. We will definitely consider staying again in their quiet peaceful rural retreat.

We greatly enjoyed Valerie and Ken's hospitality in their beautiful country home located in rural County Down, just a few kms outside of picturesque Royal Hillsborough. A great place for a pre-breakfast walk, along country lanes, eating the blackberries from the hedges if that is your fancy. Hillsborough has a large forest walk and lake open to the public, the Royal Castle and grounds and several enticing pubs with good food.

We spent a delightful night at this location, which is just 25 minutes from Belfast. The environment was quiet and pleasant, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. The included breakfast was delicious, and we highly recommend this place.

Our experience staying at the the Drum manor was very warm and welcoming. Valerie was and is quite rightfully a proud owner and running the business for many years. We enjoyed the surroundings the stories and delightful chats. The breakfast was lovely it has lots choices and the beds were very and comfortable. Her hospitality and charm and understanding of different people that stay is fantastic. We would have no hesitation in recommending and staying at drum manor.
