Staybridge Suites Hillsboro - Orenco Station

We reserved a handicap room. On arrival, after 4 p.m., we were told the room wasn't ready, and were assigned another room. It was a handicap room after a fashion, but with an unlimited number of deficiencies. 1. No luggage rack 2. No closet - only a 3-foot-square cubicle in the bathroom. Hardly an ideal place to hang clothes. 3. The bed - in a handicap room - was at least 36 inches high, far too high for a handicapped person or anyone shorter than 5' 8". 4. No clock 5. No pen or paper 6. No extra blankets 7. No laundry bag 8. No facial tissues 9. No ice bucket 10. TV positioned so it was nearly impossible to watch. At breakfast, the orange juice spigot was out of order. Condiment jars were sticky. Except for English muffins, no rolls worth eating. The scrambled eggs were about average for a motel - edible but not enticing. At the coffee counter, there was no regular half and half or cream (we didn't want hazel nut). As we left the breakfast area, the woman staffing the meal room told us, rather brusquely, to bus our own dishes. We adjusted to the circumstances and made do. My wife put together a sleeping accommodation on the couch, and the front desk provided a blanket and pillow. To be fair, the motel staff was polite and helpful so far as they could be. And we are aware of the problems of staffing and restaffing hotels after the Covid epidemic. Nonetheless, we are very unlikely to return here.

This is our second stay at this hotel. This time in the room there was a door knob missing off one door and it just felt a little more used. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite is fantastic!!

Easy, convenient, spacious. Clean for the most part, other than the pull out mattress was a bit dirty. The pool was also freezing! But overall it was a great deal and stay!

Very clean and taken care of. Well-managed.
