Hikkaduwa Hotels with Wi-Fi

Overall, I am satisfied. The room facilities are a bit old, but the hotel's location can make up for other shortcomings. The chipmunks jumping around on the lawn are not afraid of people at all. It is best to go early to feed the big turtles because it is a public beach. There will be a lot of tourists around later. Each guest will be issued a bracelet to distinguish hotel guests from other tourists. Let's talk about the problem of bringing children to the hotel. Each room can accommodate three adults. Adults over 12 years old are considered adults. Because I brought a child over 12 years old, I directly chose three people to stay in three breakfasts when booking a room. There is also a child under 12 years old. When checking in, I paid $90 for three days, including the child's extra bed fee and the child's breakfast fee. There are three main restaurants in the hotel, one is for breakfast, and all three meals are buffet. The dinner buffet is more expensive than lunch, but you can get a coupon for a 15% discount. I had a buffet dinner, which was really not good. I also ate at a seafood restaurant. It sounds a bit expensive, but the price-performance ratio is actually OK. There is also an Italian restaurant that I didn't eat at. There are convenience stores and small restaurants on both sides of the hotel, where you can buy cigarettes and alcohol. The highest floor we were given had a large balcony in each room, and there was also something like a patio, which might have been for ventilation and lighting.

The hotel, to put it mildly, is very tired, the elevator has not been working for a very long time, there is no cleaning in the room, you have to ask to change the towels, if you throw them on the floor this does not guarantee a replacement, they will pick you up, fold them and put them on the bed... During the season, breakfast is a buffet and they are not bad, but in the off-season the breakfasts are very meager... The coffee is simply disgusting, I have never encountered worse anywhere... But all the shortcomings of the hotel are offset by its location! The best beach, beautiful ocean! And you can simply close your eyes to all the shortcomings and enjoy your vacation! By the way, there are only 10 sun loungers in the hotel, keep in mind...

In July 2024, I spent several days in this hotel. In general, I liked everything, except for some moments. I'll start with the good: excellent location, opposite a supermarket, and nearby there are many shops and benches, a gorgeous view from the window of the ocean, decent breakfasts, a clean pool, the staff's willingness to help at any time, delicious dishes to order from the menu, well-groomed territory. What I didn’t like: the rooms are already tired, they need updating, I lived in room 513. The pool is open until 19.00, which is not at all convenient, because after dinner you also want activity... but there is none)

Hikkaduwa Saffron Hotel was the first hotel on our trip, so I took a lot of thoughts when choosing it. Those who like antique hotels, please come, the cabinet bed, Luohan bed desk, meet all your requirements for retro quality, full of ancient flavor. However, modern washing and air-conditioning facilities will not make you feel that life is inconvenient, and we chose the second floor room, which is super large and has a good view. When we wanted to change to a double bed, we added a single bed for free without saying anything, so we had a good rest. The service of the hotel is very good, we go snorkeling after checking out, and we can go back to the hotel to take a shower. The disadvantage is that the price is small and expensive.

The hotel is on Hikkaduwa Beach, about 20 kilometers from the ancient city of Galle. The scenery is incomparable, the swimming pool is beautiful, the rooms on the second floor are almost facing the sea, and the first floor is facing the pool ... the gym equipment is a bit behind ... the breakfast is good, the local meals are mainly ... Dinner buffet at 2,000 rupees per person ... the staff are welcoming ... the surrounding facilities are convenient and the fishery is spectacular, a ten minute walk from the Hikkaduwa bus station train station ... it is very convenient to go to Galle and Colombo ... the most important thing is that the domestic uncles and aunts are very Less ... highly recommended!

The hotel is boring. Located far from all restaurants. The rooms are clean. Nice pool.

Excellent hotel, we have been to many places and have something to compare with. Breakfasts are great, you choose from the menu and it was included in our stay. Rooms with a beautiful view of the ocean, pool, spa with excellent massage (you need to book a day in advance). There is a Japanese restaurant on the roof with a gorgeous view. Live music from Wednesday to Sunday! We highly recommend this hotel. Friendly and attentive staff. Internet WiFi worked great. The beach is private, sun loungers and towels are provided by the hotel for free, there are waves like almost everywhere in Sri Lanka with small children it may not be very comfortable to swim.

The hotel is close to the sea and the scenery is very good. The factor of going to the sea view is also the level of home (this sea view, this slip hotel is almost the same) Poor sound insulation, I doubt if others are trying to open my door
