My favorite hotel in Sri Lanka, super sea view room, the view is super beautiful! It's very pleasant to walk on the beach in the morning and evening. The swimming pool is also great. There are many chipmunks on the lawn, and the children are so happy. Half board The breakfast and dinner buffets are also very good, and you can see that they are carefully prepared. The staff are very nice, and the elephants folded with towels are so cute 😍

Hikkaduwa Saffron Hotel was the first hotel on our trip, so I took a lot of thoughts when choosing it. Those who like antique hotels, please come, the cabinet bed, Luohan bed desk, meet all your requirements for retro quality, full of ancient flavor. However, modern washing and air-conditioning facilities will not make you feel that life is inconvenient, and we chose the second floor room, which is super large and has a good view. When we wanted to change to a double bed, we added a single bed for free without saying anything, so we had a good rest. The service of the hotel is very good, we go snorkeling after checking out, and we can go back to the hotel to take a shower. The disadvantage is that the price is small and expensive.

After our roundtrip we had 8 days to relax. We got an upgrade to King Suite due to our long stay (thank you so much!!) and really loved this room on the 2nd floor. Rooms are clean and (speaking about the Suite) spacious. There are overall 6 rooms (three 1st floor, three 2nd floor). Great pool, makes it possible to train (if you really want to - during your holidays). Staff is extremely friendly and attentive, Reception, Pool and technical service (thanks, Sugath for preparing the sunbeds every day at the newly built umbrella on the beach) were great, Restaurant service (the two young guys were amazing), Kitchen (we never went out for dinner because the food in restaurant was so good) - the cook was recommending a dish every day - and surprised us with different preparations. Extra wishes no problem. Manager Warna always had time for a chat and made us feel welcome. Please allow us one hint: the Bathroom could be renovated a little bit (for example the blinds between the bathroom and the sleeping room) It was in a way like being part of the family for those 8 days. Thanks also for the opportunity to stay in the room until the evening of the departure day - free of charge - this is not a given. Location is a bit outside of Hikkaduwa (roundabout 25 min. beach walk to turtle point) but not too far - Tuk Tuk or even walkintg to the center no problem. Perfect for long walks on the beach. Sea is a bit rough but ”manageable”. We recommend this Hotel.

My favourite hotel in the country. The beachside location is excellent and the design of the hotel is very modern and stylish. Beautiful and spacious rooms overlook an infinity pool facing the beach, with all the commodities one would expect from a luxury hotel. The staff are very friendly and professional, readily accommodating even the smallest requests with efficiency. The rooftop bar is also a great place to relax with comfortable seating for large groups and great views of Hikkaduwa beach from above. The live music is always spot on, with different musicians performing in the evenings from Wednesday to Sunday, perfectly complementing the chilled atmosphere of the venue. A special mention must be made to the food. Every item on the menu tastes amazing and the selection for all three meals has a lot of variety. The seafood platter is my personal favourite but the Japanese menu is second to none, especially the crispy crab maki rolls. Easily the best sushi in Sri Lanka, outclassing most places offering a similar selection abroad. Highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and satisfying stay. Even if you are not staying here, the restaurant is well worth a visit for anyone who is passing by hikkaduwa.

We were a group of friends going on our first post-covid vacation together. We were the first guests for the season & from the warmest welcome smile that we received, we knew that we were going to be treated well. The staff are absolutely amazing & was always at our service! The chef & team are ever ready to help us out. The chef had prepared some scrumptious mouth watering meals for us. They were also very concerned about the 2.5 year old with us & made sure that his food was prepared early. The villa itself was super gorgeous & breathtaking! The pool & the views were just amazing! There's plenty of lounging space for everyone. The place is well maintained and super clean & everything still looks brand new! We are eagerly looking forward to coming back! The villa complex with the restaurant pool and spa occupies a slope of altitude in the distance of the sea and the vault.From the top, the view of the jungle and rice fields is open. The space inside is thought out with a fine taste and sense . By passing the huge gate of the stone wall you get into a special world where everything is happening for you and for your comfort and pleasure. Excellent food, children refused to have dinner elsewhere, well we were not against. Spa procedure at the highest level. The massage was done to me by Dulib, he was doing yoga classes in the morning. I thought to take him with me;). Our Butler Taranga is a very pleasant man-a good, the children loved him. Jesse is a local polyglot, though not our batter, very helpful in the case, for example, took us to the dive club and traded on the market. Managing Umberto, an Italian with a special view of what service should be in the hotel. He is constantly and unintrusively present somewhere near that is not normal . Having accompanied us at 5 a.m. Everything and in everybody feels a special approach and attitude towards your person! Cooks, rumservices, even cleaners and guards are very friendly and create an atmosphere of the highest comfort.

We spent the most incredible 6 days in this little piece of paradise. Despite the incredible surroundings, the stunning, well equipped, comfortable, clean and quiet villa, what really made this break so memorable was our host Jay and his team. I have never met a more hard-working, kind, caring, helpful man. To be greeted by his smiling face every morning was just everything. He did all he could to make our stay unforgettable. Nothing was too much and we enjoyed chatting with him and hearing stories of his life after dinner in the evening. He helped us with trips out, planning our itinerary, arranging trea**ents in the villa and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The meals were so tasting and as a vegetarian I was well catered for. The view from the lake was breathtaking and we even had a water monitor swim past every morning. Some incredible memories made. Thank you for everything you did for us. We will be back!
