Avoid This Place - Don’t make advance before you go If you're considering Situ Villa Hikkaduwa, think again. Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. We were a group of professionals on a gold trip, and we made a reservation at this villa, even putting down a deposit. We informed the owner we'd arrive around 11 pm. Due to heavy rain and traffic on the highway, we ended up arriving closer to midnight 12pm When we called the owner to let him know we were nearby, he rudely told us we were too late and to find another hotel. At midnight! We spent hours trying to find alternative accommodation, finally securing a place at 2 am. Throughout this ordeal, we tried calling the villa owner countless times, but he completely ignored us. To make matters worse, when we requested our deposit back, he initially agreed but then ghosted us, refusing to return our calls or give back our money. This is hands down the worst management I've ever encountered. They have zero respect for their guests and no sense of responsibility. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. It's not worth the hassle, stress, or financial loss.
