Greeted by warm smiles and accommodating staff, anyways happy to help. Situation one road back from the beach and a juggle treehouse environment. Excellent value for money and extensive menu all wall priced. A must see. Thank you for making our holiday a lovely experience!

I travel by myself, Chami is a nice friendly guy who is an owner. He is here everyday and can always help/advise/have a friendly chat. During the day people come around to have a meal so you can meet a company/surf teacher or enjoy your breakfast. Проходила мимо как то вечером, тут играли русские ребята на гитаре, зашла. В итоге познакомилась с прикольными людьми и нашла тут серф учителя. вкусная еда, приветливый хозяин, интернет, в номерах чисто, опрятно, нет кондея, но это нестрашно есть вентиляторы. Завтрак кстати включён. Рекомендую.

My stay at Chamis Place was wonderful. I booked a 3 day tour with Chami. The tour was very privately and had lovely surprises at every day. Highly recommended! We were in the rainforest, game drive in Yala national park and hiking in Ella.

Did not stay at Chamis but we ate here a a lot as we were staying over the road. This is a great place for food and drink and probably some of the best fish and seafood in the area. Got very friendly with chami and his great staff he helped us so much when we had a problem. Chami also opened a great bar on the beach side of the main road also great for food and drinks. Looking forward to coming back in November and seeing you all again. Thanks so much for your hospitality

Это не просто хостел, но целое пространство со множеством вариантов размещения. Вам действительно придётся обойти весь участок, чтобы увидеть все комнаты. Стены внутри и снаружи расписаны художниками в свободном стиле. В целом здесь регги-атмосфера с сопутствующими декорациями и музыкой, и вы удивитесь тому, сколько здесь локаций чтобы почилить/полежать/поболтать/поесть/насладиться разными травами. Здесь есть своя кухня, и, если завтрак включён, он может быть потрясающим. Сегодня нам подали: омлет, тосты с авокадо, джем, роти, сливочное масло, разные хлебобулочные изделия, острые приправы, кофе и фреш. Это было великолепно. Здесь вы можете также пообедать и поужинать. В зависимости от номера у вас могут быть свои либо общие ванная/туалет. Здесь есть услуги прачечной (не пользовался), и много места на развешивания белья на просушку. Персонал очень вежливый, старается помочь. Локация находится близко к выходам на пляж, дайвинг и снорклинг центрам, неподалёку от нескольких банков и разных кафе. Рядом проходят ж/д пути, но мне это совсем не мешало. На территории живёт пара мирных собак и кошек. Поскольку место в целом находится в близкой связи с природой, по вечерам вас могут поприветствовать, например, пауки) Все кровати оборудованы пологами, поэтому смело ложитесь спать. В комнатах есть напольные либо потолочные вентиляторы. Если вам нужен вай-фай для работы - обязательно уточните, в какой части хостела сигнал лучше. Хозяин комплекса - Чами - очень неглупый человек, вдохновлённый своим делом и заботящийся о своём персонале. В целом, если вам близки идеи и ценности регги, близости к природе, дред, широких штанов, свободных путешествий - то вам сюда. Тем не менее, запаситесь берушами на случай шумных вечерних посиделок) Спасибо, Чами и всем ребятам, кто старается на стороне отеля!)

I booked a room for 2 people for 2 nights. There was the fan, twin bad with net and private bathroom. Outside it was looked like hobbit’s home! (Expect height;) Inside it was like a country house. Breakfast was very good: omelet with vegetables, big toast with avocado, different breads, butter and jam, coffee and papaya fresh. This is amazing place which attractive for open-minded persons. There are many locations for eat and rest, open space with books and different graffiti everywhere. This is literally jungle! Just look at photos:

Perfectly situated just a little off the main road in Hikkaduwa this place is a dream location for anyone visiting town for a surfing trip or any other type of activity. Clean, bright, comfortable and you can get anywhere simply by walking couple of minutes. Good night sleep, great food and Italian espresso coffee will make you wanna extend your stay for sure. They can also arrange for a round-the-island trip, surfing lessons or a visit to one of many national parks. Look no further as friendly and welcoming stuff are happy to assist with anything you might need on your vacation in Hikkaduwa 🌏🌴🌊

Не понятны хорошие отзывы а данном месте. Не могу сказать, что мы привередливые туристы. Шли по отзывам про тако. В итоге получили ужасно пережаренные лепёшки в масле с капустой внутри, очень жирности, почти без мяса, хотя брали один с курицей, а второй с креветками. Больше ничего не пробовали.
