Everything does not match the price. Both air conditioners in the room we were given were broken. When asked to change rooms, they were not replaced. We had to ask someone to fix it, which caused water all over the floor. I don’t recommend staying there. The photos are definitely nice. Yes, but they are all illusions

Really enjoyed the spacious room with the sea-view private plunge pool (shame these aren’t heated for the evenings!) The gym is small but relatively well equipped and a nice touch. Staff are amazing Only downside is the location doesn’t have much going on, but a tuk tuk to central Hikkaduwa only takes 8-10 minutes - 20 minutes to Galle

Absolutely amazing experience, the suite is stunning and the staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Hasaranga, Pramod (housekeeping staff) and Chamoth (in the bar). The staff made it such a pleasurable experience and provided us with anything and everything we needed. If I am to come back to Sri Lanka I will definitely be booking here again!! 🥰🥰

One of the greatest experiences I've ever had. From the point of reservation till the last moment at Crystal Sands, it was admirable positive energy throughout. We were warmly welcomed by the team at the front, everything was exceptionally well organized, we had nothing more than happy moments to cherish for a lifetime. Rooms are scintillatingly clean, plunge pool is excellent, food was super delicious, nothing to complain at all. Super happy with everything they offered and I would recommend Crystal Sands to almost everyone. I am so certain that Crystal Sands would be a place that I would visit once in a while to get that feeling of freedom, positive energy, as well as the great food.

Worth for money you spend. Amazing stay. Friendly staff. Specially name called Mr. Rakitha, who serves food. Polite, organised and friendly. Doing his job at his best. View is excellent. Food was delicious.

Me and my wife stayed at Crystal Sands in Hikkaduwa and honestly it was one of the most beautiful places we stayed in during our Sri Lanka trip. We booked the Sands Suite (2 Bedroom Apartment with Private Plunge Pool) – and it really felt like our own small paradise. The jacuzzi with the ocean view was just something else! Watching the sunset while sitting there was like a dream. Only downside was the jacuzzi jets – everytime we turned them on, an alarm would start after like 5 minutes, and we had to switch them off. Bit annoying cause we really wanted to enjoy the jets. The room was big, super clean and very comfy. The jacuzzi was great, and everything felt new and well arranged. Very calm and relaxing vibes all around. The staff were super nice, and the location is perfect – literally on the beach but also private and not noisy at all. Breakfast was the only thing that didn’t match the rest. It wasn’t a buffet, and the food options were really limited – like small portions and few things to choose from. Felt more like a tasting menu than a real breakfast. We missed the big Sri Lankan breakfasts we had in other places. Also, fruits were very little. But the view from the restaurant was amazing, right on the ocean. Wi-Fi was okay in the beginning, but weirdly I couldn’t play YouTube which was kinda frustrating. Still, overall, we had a lovely time. So many nice moments and memories. Would totally recommend for couples looking for a peaceful and romantic break!

We stayed at this beautiful sea view hotel for a romantic day getaway, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff with a refreshing drink and friendly smiles. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and we were guided to our room with care.

Отдыхали в отеле с 10 по 22 января 2025 года. От отеля в восторге! Понравилось всё. Чудесные современные номера с панорамными окнами в гостиной с видом на океан. Две спальни с отдельными ванными комнатами, кухонный уголок с плитой, духовкой, кофемашиной, микроволновкой, стиральной машиной. Особенно порадовало личное джакузи , прекрасно проводили в нем время наблюдая закат , а иногда и рассвет. Очень понравилось обслуживание- начиная с ресепшен и уборки, заканчивая обслуживанием в ресторане. Все просьбы выполнялись молниеносно, стоило написать в Вотсапп и буквально через 3-5 минут все готово . Обслуживающий персонал молодцы, очень стараются. Отдельную благодарность хотела бы выразить Hirush Aloko и Tharindu (house keeping). Убирали они в номере 703. Работают замечательно!! Все вещи сложены и аккуратно повешены, все чисто и красиво. Но!! Самое удивительное то, как они убирают детские игрушки! Весь детский бардак превращается в идеальную красоту! Никогда не видела такого трепетного отношения к уборке. Спасибо им огромное. Пляж хороший, песчаный, заход в воду также без камней и кораллов. Океан с волнами, как и практически на всем побережье , однако мы все купались, включая детей ( дети под обязательным присмотром) Лежаков не очень много, но всем хватало. При необходимости сотрудники организовывали дополнительные места . На пляже только гости отеля - тихо , спокойно и немноголюдно. За пределами отеля гулять особенно негде, до центра можно доехать на тук-туке или такси. В Хиккадуве есть фруктовый и рыбный рынок, на тук-туке 3000 рупий в обе стороны. Фрукты , креветки и рыбу покупали только там. Иногда ездили обедать и ужинать в Хиккадуву, иногда ели в нашем ресторане , цены приемлимые. Подача и вкус блюд на 5. Можно заказывать еду в номер. Завтраки у нас были включены, вкусные. На свой день рождения я получила в качестве комплимента вкусный тортик со свечой. Было очень приятно . Отель однозначно рекомендую.
