Haritha Villas & Spa

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Haritha Villas in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka, with my family. We were a group of six and had booked the beautiful Two-Bedroom Mansion Villa. Every part of the experience—from booking to check-out—was simply outstanding and worth every bit of praise. The booking process through the Haritha Villas website was seamless and incredibly easy. The website was smooth to navigate, and making the payment for the full villa booking felt completely secure and straightforward. It gave me a sense of trust even before we arrived. When we reached the property, we were immediately blown away by how peaceful and stunning the location was. It looked exactly like what we had seen in the pictures online—if anything, even better in person. We were welcomed in a lovely way with a chilled, freshly made passion fruit juice, which instantly made us feel refreshed. I also want to mention how thoughtful it was that our butler, Lasantha, had already reached out to us before arrival. He took the time to understand our preferences, and that simple gesture made us feel at home the moment we stepped in. The rooms were beautifully maintained. I was genuinely impressed by the architecture and the overall thought that has gone into the interiors. There was a touch of traditional Sri Lankan charm in every corner. The wooden detailing, the layout, the drawers, the furniture—everything felt carefully designed. The room was spotless, perfectly made, and stocked with great snack and drink options. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was in its place—clean and tidy just the way you’d want it on a holiday. Hospitality was another highlight of the stay. Lasantha, our butler, along with the entire team at the property, made us feel genuinely welcome. They were polite, patient, and very professional throughout our visit. Communicating with Lasantha was incredibly easy—anything we needed, we would just drop a message on WhatsApp, and within no time, it was at our doorstep. I’ve never experienced this level of responsiveness and convenience anywhere else, and I truly appreciate that level of care. We also experienced the spa during our stay, and it was equally memorable. The moment we entered, we felt calm and at peace. The spa was beautifully done—spacious, quiet, and luxurious. The therapist assigned to me was kind and made sure I was comfortable throughout. I also had the chance to speak to the in-house Ayurveda doctor, who patiently listened to the issues I was facing and suggested the right treatments. We even ended up having a great conversation about Ayurveda in general, which I really enjoyed. Now, let’s talk about the food—because honestly, this deserves all the praise in the world. The food at Haritha Villas was absolutely exceptional. Every meal was crafted with care, precision, and creativity. I can confidently say that this was some of the best food I’ve ever had at any property I’ve visited. Not a single dish felt underwhelming.

Serene tranquility, your peaceful retreat in Sri Lanka. This property is up there as one of the best i have visited to date, it offers that something special, a personalized experience. Firstly, a thank you to the entire team who made the stay what it was, this goes from the butler's to the spa team and all the way to the General Manager. Excellent and without them this place would not be what it is. Arrival, late evening, amazing check-in process, so smooth. The rooms, basically a little studio, with an outdoor terrace and plunge pool. Well designed, well thought of in the design. The room has all the amenities one would need for this type of retreat, double sink, shelf space, bedside table and lamps, full glass windows and sliding door. Finally a rain shower that also leads out to the small garden area. Bed (Mattress) and pillows not my style or preference, but of a good quality. Main pool area, restaurant and chill out area, well designed, so relaxing and having a personalized butler service just makes the experience so much better. Talking of which, breakfast has no set time here, it is when you wish to have it and all prepared by your butler (and the team obviously). This has been thought out, and is the perfect decision - well done..... Spa, tranquil, and all the staff are professional and provide excellent consultation and massages. Stayed for 3-Nights and had a massage every day, was perfect. We will be back in the year to do a wellness program with this property, three days was not enough, this property needs at least 7-Days. This property does offer colonial style villas (2 to be exact) however they were under renovation during our stay, Shame, because they are really nice. Comments....Night one, loud noises (music) from the village near by until 0100-Hours... Other than that, excellent and will be back...

We had a fantastic time at Haritha. Beautiful villas midst lush gardens, nature and wildlife. Top service. Great food, both international and Sri Lankan. Thilina made our stay very special and helped whenever needed. Also highly recommend the garden tour to learn about all plants, trees and flowers of the estate. We didnt wanna leave. If you are looking for peaceful, tranquil place to stay and getting pampered, come here. Thank you to the whole team.
