We also have completely different furnishing. Skyline Lodge is now open, putting a world-class steakhouse within walking distance! Pets: We are glad that we offer a home where you can bring your pets along. However, in the year we’ve been renting, we have had numerous problems. Therefore we have the following policies: Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture. Clean up after your pet if they go in the yard, there is a poop scooper usually on the deck. We have a roll of green temporary fence on the corner of the front deck. If you like, this can be used to keep your pets on the deck. It attaches using the hooks on the rail and the house. We also have two child gates inside if you would like to keep your pet on the main floor where there is no carpet. It is imperative that you keep your dog(s) on a leash when outside. There are several (really nice) older people in our neighborhood who frequently walk their dogs without leashes, as well as guests in the main house with dogs sometimes. If your pet goes to the bathroom on the carpet, clean it up or we will charge for professional cleaning. Serene and peaceful “Lotts of Sky” was perfect! Very secluded and peaceful yet close enough to everything we wanted to check out. The check in/out process was very simple and clearly stated in directions. One thing we weren’t aware of prior that was a nice little bonus was that Oak steakhouse at Skyline Lodge is literally a couple hundred yards (through the forest) from the property and we enjoyed a great meal there one evening. When we return to the area we will definitely reach out to the hosts again. Definitely check out Secret Falls, Whiteside Mountain, Highlands UTV (ask for David) and the Great Smokey Mountains RailRoad in Bryson City was a great excursion too!

Great weekend getaway! We had a blast spending time in the mountains over a long weekend. The kids enjoyed the hottub, the woods and the zip line! There was plenty of space for us all to sit, relax and enjoy each others company!

Great place We enjoyed Lotts of Sky, especially all the outdoor covered living space. We were completely remote. Our only disappointment was that we didn't see any bears. Maybe next time, as we qoyld absolutely love to go back!

Mountain vacation Great house for a family or small group. Accommodations were great and the separate spaces allowed everyone to have the vacation they wanted. Management team was very responsive and addressed any issues that arose immediately.

Mountain retreat Excellent communication from homeowner. Marty was friendly and helpful. Also, his picture directions into this remote property were so great! Cabin is rustic and lovely with great views. Very convenient location between Cashiers and Highlands. Bathrooms were clean and house was well stocked for guests. Also this home has super outdoor porch space!
