Wonderful time on the South Coast of KZN. Pumula is a hidden Gem. Saw people I know from Cape Town and all over. We loved the family environment and the delicious food. We are surfers so we enjoyed a wonderful day of waves at the point break you can see from the hotel deck. highly recommend

It seemed above a 3 star hotel in many ways. But nice and low key and great where it mattered in the food, service and comfortable and clean bedrooms. Lots of great activities for adults and kids - darts, pool, table tennis, the list goes on!

We stayed at Pumula Beach Hotel in July with our family and had a truly relaxing experience. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for unwinding. The food was a definite highlight—delicious, fresh, and with plenty of variety to suit everyone’s tastes. While the resort is very family-friendly, we felt there could be more activities specifically geared toward teenagers to keep them engaged. That said, the beach access and natural surroundings offered plenty of opportunities for fun and exploration. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we’d definitely recommend it to families looking for a laid-back coastal escape.
