Rodeway Inn

I loved my stay I only have a few complaints and in my rating system they all combined to a single point so it was still a great time! So one of my first complaints was the jacuzzi it was great and all but I did have to turn the faucet on and let all the hard mineral buildup in the pipes come out and wipe them up with a towel out of the tub after that it was clean and great to use although really slippery like hard to get out slippery but I'm not entirely sure there is a way to fix that. My other complaints are the bathroom draining system and the vending machine. So it was late nothing is open so I used the vending machine and got a bag of gardettos and it seemed like a mouse chewed a hole through the bottom of the bag but I didn't see mouse droppings or signs of mice there so I'm wondering if that came from the distributors like that however the bathroom draining is a real problem probably my biggest complaint. I'd recommend putting in a long drain right outside of the shower and making the room grout slowly slope towards the drain. When I got out of the shower there happened to be water all over the floor even with the curtain being there. And I cleaned it up with the extra towels I had. Not really a big deal just a small inconvenience seriously a good spot to rest il be recommending the rodeway inn to my friends!

This motel is only average. The room door didn't shut by itself and didn't always stay shut when I shut it. It had to be closed just right. The light above the lavatory would come on only occasionally, then after about 15 seconds, it would go out. The staff acted like they could care less. They don't have a 24-hour desk. If it's late, you have to ring the bell and wait. (Not the worst thing, but I had been told by staff that they had a 24-hour front desk.) I guess that's why the motel called me at about 9:30 p.m. to "confirm" that I still was coming in that evening. That was a first. The clerk was kind of rude about it. (He was different from the "couldn't care less" night clerk.) The free breakfast was good in that it had scrambled eggs, but the orange juice was watery.

As I checked in, I realized this is a former Americinn facility. Second floor room, no problem -- there is an elevator. The excellent pool area with Whirlpool/hot tub is in good condition. Had a great soak! The spacious room was cool, quiet, comfortable with a very good sleeping bed. Breakfast was good as well. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very disappointed in the quality and service of this hotel. This was our second time staying in the hotel and we will not stay here again. They weren't full and we were told they only had rooms on the highway side. There were probably 10 total people staying in this hotel and we were shocked that we had to stay in the noisy side. The person behind the desk was not very friendly. We found him to be downright rude. We found the hotel to be in need of some upgrading and the rooms smelled like dirty feet. Once again, we will not stay here in the future.

A Great Rodeway Inn in the Wichita area. Rodeway is the lower end of the Choice hotels. This Rodeway is absolutely one of the cleanest hotels we have used…. notice it is well rates and for a reason. The beds and bathroom are up to date. Much of the hotel is older style but in great shape and I will repeat again very clean. My wife is a stickler on cleanliness so I was nervous picking Rodeway Inn but she loved it. Forgot to mention inexpensive points or cash

I searched up and down TripAdvisor for a hotel in my price range between Wichita and NE and this was the only one I wasn't worried about staying in; it was clean, comfortable, and the desk clerk was very nice and accommodating. When I first checked in, my tv wasn't showing any signal, so she came right down and checked all the cords, finding the problem and getting it working again. At first, the internet didn't seem fast enough to stream (Hulu wouldn't), but I tried another service (Disney+) and it streamed without issue. I found it to be pretty quiet, and while the heater was noisy, it was a nice white noise that probably helped drown out any minor noise from other guests. The shower head was a little too low, and the pressure wasn't very strong, but the water was warm. Beds were comfortable, and pillows had differing density. Appreciated the fridge and microwave. Didn't use the pool, or the sparse breakfast offerings. Would stay here again without hesitation.

We checked in late but was greeted by very friendly service. checked out the room first with the clerk with no problems and the room was very clean. we read some reviews that were not favorable but decided to try it and was not disappointed. We would suggest for anyone to stay there. The price was outstanding compared to others in the area. The complimentary breakfast was great it had waffles, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, orange and apple juice. we stayed in room 110 and were very happy with everything. There was a pool but we didn't have a chance to use it unfortunately. they are animal friendly. We paid cash but did have to give a credit card for incidentals such as if we were smoking in the room but they didn't charge anything on the card. its a little bit of a drive from the interstate but worth it to get a good clean room at a great price.

We were travelling across Kansas on US50 and chose the Rodeway Inn because it was much less expensive than hotels in nearby Newton or Wichita. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. It compared favorably to more expensive hotels I have stayed at. Highly recommend.

I have stayed at multiple Rodeways and this is one of the nicest. No outside noise and no bad odors. One change I would like to see is a better lighted shower/bathroom. The heater was on when we entered the room and that was nice! Wish I would have had time to try the pool.
