Pizzas are to die for, European and Greek cuisine, full selection of beers, local and full wine list and spirits. Very friendly staff always will to help. Facilities are very clean. Not sure if it's wheelchair accessible as we went up about 8 steps to restaurant

Love this area and been many times. Stayed in several apartments. The Ariadni apartment's were great. Exceptionally clean, spacious and in the best location for all the restaurant's , bars and shops..staff very friendly. Amazing gor the price, quiet at night do you can sleep. Stayed in room 210 with side balcony which hot the sun from first light to afternoon. Would defo stay again and highly recommend.

These are basic budget apartments, quite spacious, clean and comfortable we were in 103. We didn’t have any problems and found the staff lovely and helpful. We were pleased to have a proper shower cubicle no curtain and the bathroom was spacious. Cleaning is alternate days. The letdown for us was the pool area because there is very limited space for sunbathing only accommodates 2 or 3 sunbeds at a time; these are old and yes as another review says you get told off if you don’t put them away. Also no pool bar as such, and you are by the restaurant so can feel on display. Definitely need to be on 1st and 2nd floors not below pool level as you can see it’s a bit dark and dingy. We would not have stayed in a lower level room, but some guests were happy to, I guess you need to think about how much time you spend in your rooms, as if you are always out going to beach etc it doesn’t matter. Location is excellent and you have restaurant on site, can bring your meals back to your room if you want. Overall excellent value for the price you pay and we would return and ask for top floor

Appreciate its cheap and cheerful but there is still a level of expectations regardless, especially for a "3*" hotel. Was put in a room downstairs below the pool ( Room 106 ) where your "balcony view" is a brick wall facing the pool. Was told the hotel was "full" yet only saw 3/4 more rooms with guests in it during our stay. The room itself is very dated very much in need of TLC. The bathroom door was stiff with a window that didn't open, the main bedroom was that old it had a radio built into the wall with a headboard that exploded with dust at the touch. Half the plugs in the bedroom didn't work. The kitchen, for a 3 person room had two plates, two what can only be described as shot glasses and one tall glass. When it comes to cooking facilities, basic doesn't even cover it. Had to be on bug control each evening removing what I hope was mosquitos from the room, along with large cockroaches.... Finally the staff. Was very much welcomed the first evening, encouraged to eat in the restaurant ( which we did ) but after that it wen't downhill. Every place in Koutouloufari will say hello to you when you pass regardless on whether your entering or not. Not once did this happen at Ariadni. The staff were only interested in you if you were going to the restaurant. Guests approached and threatened by staff if you don't put your sunbed away - oh yes you have to put your own sunbed out and put it back when finished with - And I personally had a frosty conversation with the owner over checking out. Ended up leaving a day early and moving to another hotel because of how uncomfortable and dissatisfied we were. Did not feel at all comfortable approaching any of the staff about our concerns during our stay, can tell the hotel is an after thought from the restaurant business. I appreciate this hotel is cheap, but I would seriously avoid and pay the extra for other properties in the area.

This is the 4 hotel I have stayed at in these villages, all of the others I have returned to more than once and would happily return to again. However I definitely wouldn't not return to this one! Yes it is on the lower price scale for the villages, but I wouldn't say it is value for money. Our room was like an underground bunker, balcony was below ground level, so looking at a wall with no sun, the window in bedroom looked out into another wall, so there was no natural light in whole apartment. Bathroom window didn't open, bathroom door didn't shut very well, and when it did was really difficult to open, front door and balcony door didn't feel secure or safe. Hardly any utensils in kitchen. Half of the plugs in bedroom didn't work. Smelt old and musty. Pool freezing and dirty. Had to get out your own sunbed and told off if you didn't put it away instantly. Owners friendly on arrival, but didn't even manage a hello after that. Just pointed us to our room, didn't actually take us there or show us in. Light on complex didn't work, so we had to find our key before heading there, and the one of us use torch to guide us to room. Got a visit from the resident cockroach at least 4 times per night. And had a family above us with 3 kids who found it acceptable to play their 3 recorders on repeat from 6.30am every morning. Every other place I have stayed have been full of happy staff and happy guests, this place everyone was just walking round looking miserable. Location and villages are amazing, and I think a lot of the reviews reflect this rather than the quality of the hotel. I definitely would not stay again

I would highly recommend this hotel. I have just stayed for 2 weeks with my son (September 2023) the hotel and restaurant are run by the friendliest family. They make you feel like your part of the family from the very start. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Myself and my son ended are holiday with new friends and we are going back next year with more family so they can experience a great holiday with the best people. Thank you to everyone at this lovely hotel for making our holiday so enjoyable. We can't wait to see you all again next year !! Ps the food at the hotel traverna is amazing!! Xxx

Great little hotel in a great area. Staff are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and well equipped, and the restaurant is good and reasonably priced. There are loads of very good restaurants in the very pretty traditional village. We really enjoyed our stay.

The Taverna /hotel is in a very good location , a very nice village 25 minutes walk to the resort of Hellonossis ,though down a fairly long hilly road. There is no public transport to the village so it is taxi or walk! The Ariadni is very clean and the owners are very welcoming. The rooms are a little dated but are adequately equipped for a holiday stay, if you are expecting a 5 star hotel you will be very disappointed. We paid extra for an apartment with a view and were happy with the room. There are offices in the village at which you are able to book tours to the sights of the island and pick up is very local. The food at the Ariadni is good (as it is at all the local tavernas) , we ate 4 times here and we were not disappointed. Breakfast options are fairly standard variants of egg, bacon and sausage, an option of a continental breakfast would have been welcome (I have seen reviews posted in previous years that a traditional British breakfast was an extra charge , this is not so now, there is no charge). We enjoyed our stay here and we would return for a future holiday.

I booked this hotel in July through love holidays. I unfortunately this was a terrible experience the room was not fit for purpose. The hotel said they could move us to another room 24/48 hours later. The toilet door had no handle and was warped so couldn’t even close over which meant by daughters bed stared straight into the toilet. The room was on the lowest level and looks straight at a wall. Greece is wonderful and Koutouloufari is beautiful and I will go back to the village. However avoid this place. I had he held off to see if the hotel or love holidays would compensate however to no avail. So I am now writing this review. We checked out and booked elsewhere. Please avoid. I am attempting to load video of room that was passed fit for our arrival but struggling to do so if O can manage this I will add it also.
