Upon check-in the staff couldn't find my reservation, which I booked directly through the website 6 months in advance and had confirmation emails, credit card charge, etc. Eventually the staff member looked up my name manually and found my reservation, only to inform me that someone had already been checked in under my name and that the hotel was 100% booked for the evening with no vacancies. This is the first hotel I've ever been to that doesn't ask for ID, or at the very least ask you to present the credit card you paid with! After about 20 minutes she finally assigned us a room, informing us that they allowed another guest to be checked in unde my name , their last name was Crane, mine is Cain and the first names are completely different, and the room type was different. She even showed me a copy of the check-in paper, which the guest also received a copy of where the Crane guest signed her name at the bottom of the paper that had my name, address, and credit card information on.. a huge risky mistake by the Days Inn, now I have to monitor myelf for id theft and credit theft. The floors of the room we were reassigned to , room 407, were dirty, the bathroom shower and toilet were dirty, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash containers were not filled, and the mini fridge did not work. Overall, a horrible experience, thankful we were only there for one night.
