You are greeted by a hotel with filthy windows and a parking lot that has not been maintained. The lobby had a heavy disgusting odor, emanating from who knows what. The pool was closed. We did not dare drink the coffee that was allegedly available-we did not check it out. The room was dark and filthy and not maintained. We asked for a blanket for each bed and were given what looked like an old bed spread. They were full of cigarette burns too many to count and who knows when they were last laundered. I slept above the covers. We did not walk on the carpet unless we had shoes on and were afraid to drink the water. The inside of the microwave was rusted and should have been replaced. No iron or working hairdryer. The replacement hair dryer that was given had a greasy, slimy, yellowed cord. I have never seen any appliance that dirty. The corner molding on the wall between the sink and the closet was broken and protruding. We bought Clorox wipes and Lysol to disinfect all surfaces. The bathroom ceiling had large paint peels. The bathtub was so grimy that the wet wipes would not clean it. We showered with shower shoes on. When disinfecting the toilet, I happened to notice a thick black build up under the rim of the toilet bowl. -Black Mold? They aren't enough adjectives to describe this horrific hotel room. I have attached pictures. But if you have ever viewed pictures of a house and then see it in person, you know how much a picture hides. This was the worst hotel room, that I have ever seen. Went to Greenville, Pa and stayed the second night of our trip at a local hotel that was delightfully clean.
