After a long journey in a stormy weather it appeared like a lighthouse in the storm and... what an amazing welcome! The landlady has really been helpful and kind and the place is top notch: amazing interiors, very comfortable beds and large family rooms, spotless clean not to mention the really yummy breakfast. Thank you for the perfect stay!

Beautiful property at the foot of the nature reserve. Most amazing views. All the comforts you require for a luxury stay. Celia is a warm host and we felt right at home. The plants are just exquisite in the house and love and care noticeable all around the lovely guest house. We can highly recommend this guest house and hope to return again soon.

The Selkirk House is a very modern and stylish Guesthouse in a quiet neighborhood. Everything in this house is very generously designed and extremely tastefully furnished. We were only here for two nights and during this time there was only one other couple staying with us. It was correspondingly quiet. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Celia, our hoste, welcomed us in her beautiful and luxurious villa in Hermanus. We had a private room and bathroom and shared common areas: pool, dining room, living room. Although we only stayed for one night, we were completely rested and ready to continue our trip through SA, especially after the lovely breakfast Celia provided!

Stunning guest house in a lovely neighbourhood. Walking distance from Sat Market. Rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Pure luxury. Celia is an outstanding host and breakfast was beautifully presented. Rooms have all the comforts you would expect from a 5 star luxury guest house. Beautiful lounges with gas fire make for a very comfortable stay. We loved our stay.

Where to begin, Celia is by far the most incredible host we have had. She went out of her way to make our stay as special as possible. The food was too good not to go back for seconds so for the foodies out there you are in for a treat. The spacious rooms each had their own personality with luxurious en suite bathrooms and abundant closet space. Our room had a view of their magnificent mountain and we even enjoyed some drinks during sunset on their sun deck.

Selkirk House is a wonderful gem in Hermanus. Cecil is an exceptional host and all staff is super friendly. The place itself boasts with comfort & coziness, the rooms are spacious and equipped with all the perks needed. The delicious breakfast has been absolute highlight in the morning. Wow, was für ein Guesthouse. Schon bei der Anfahrt erahnt man, in welcher luxuriösen Unterkunft man hier gelandet ist. Das gesamte Haus ist lichtdurchflutet, modern, stylisch, sauber, einfach nur genial. Hier gibt es rein gar nichts zu beanstanden. Celia, die Gastgeberin, ist großartig, herzlich und freundlich.# beim betrreten des Zimmers gibt es den WOW-Effekt, so schön ist alles. Wir hatten Raum 1 gebucht mit teilweisem Meerblick. Man fühlt sich sofort super wohl, da alles sauber, neu, modern, aufgeräumt, luxuriös ist. ich finde gar keine positiveren Worte mehr. Wer hier übernachtet, wird definitiv nicht enttäuscht. Eines der besten Frühstücke erwartet Euch. Das Haus bietet eine grandios ausgestattete Bar, an der man sich auf Vertrauensbasis selber bedienen kann mit unzähligen Weinen, Spirituosen und vielem mehr. Wir komen definitiv wieder, wenn die Preise sich im nächten Jahr wieder etwas nach unten einpendeln. Dieses mal haben wir 2880 Rand bezahlt, im nächsten Jahr werden schon 4600 Rand aufgerufen. Da müssten wir nochmal überlegen .-)
