Abalone is fantastic place to stay, beautiful views, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast and a lovely welcome basket with fruit & cheese and a bottle of bubbly. It is located centrally and has direct access via a walkway to the beach. I loved the herb and vegetable garden in the courtyard, very friendly staff and I can recommend it any time

We returned to the Abalone for a second time, we like the rooms facing the sea with spectacular views. We enjoy the proximity to the coastal path for extended walks which are very safe. Ainsley runs the place perfectly!

Wir haben unsere drei Tage im Abalone Guesthouse in Hermanus sehr genossen. Das Abalone ist ein sehr gepflegtes Guesthouse direkt am Meer gelegen auf das wir aus unserem Zimmer 6 einen wunderschönen Ausblick hatten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Frühstücksauswahl ist gut, wenngleich wir auch schon ein üppigeres Angebot auf unserer Reise genießen durften. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert, da sich die Unterkunft etwas außerhalb befindet.

We had the most incredible stay at Abalone Lodge. The staff were so kind and friendly, the food was delicious and of course the facilities and room exceeded our expectations. We had a lovely room with an ocean view, which made the stay even more special. The direct access on the cliff path was perfect for local beaches and the location is also so convenient to town. This is a place I could not recommend enough, incredible place!

The Abalone Guest Lodge met our expectations and more. The breakfast service and quality was excellent, the staff so helpful and friendly, and the space comfortable and welcoming. Our ocean view room with balcony was lovely and worth it! We loved the easy access to the cliff path walk that led to some lovely local beaches.

The Abalone Lodge is a beautiful property in a magnificent setting overlooking a captivating seascape with a private gate leading to walking paths. The staff was amazing, the food was gourmet level including the breakfast choices. The rooms are very comfortable. I would love to stay here again but next time for whale season. The Aboline Lodge is definitely the perfect place to stay for whale watching or any time when you need to relax and be pampered.

We stayed two nights in the luxuriuos Tylney Manor. The staff were wonderful, food delicious and guides knowledgable and friendly. We had great game drives getting up close to elephants, giraffe, lion and many more!
