The service, cleanliness and decor were first rate. We had booked a luxury sea view room and the view was gorgeous. Unfortunately the room was tiny with only room for the bed and one small chair - we did not feel that particular room (226) represented good value for money (£1491 for 3 nights). Reception said they had no other room available. Other rooms were much more spacious.
The help received when one of our phones was lost while out in Hermanus, including a late checkout, was outstanding.

Our stay was perfect from the smooth check in to the flawless service and decor. A sophisticated, relaxing and detail oriented approach to high quality. Nothing was overstated or garish - everything encouraged a relaxing, stress free and delightful stay.

We returned for 8 days as we had stayed here before and our experience was even better , the location the amazing food and the staff. We were looked after very well making it a home from home we will return. Thanks to the manager Heloïse and Bianca.

From the time we arrived until the time we left, The Marine Hotel surpassed our expectations. The service was friendly and efficient. We were made to feel extremely welcome and the location is superb. I would thoroughly recommend a stay & I hope to return.

Das Marine hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen. Tolle Lage, schöne Zimmer, gutes Essen und freundliches Personal. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer in Hermanus und hat eine schöne Atmosphäre mit gelungenen Restaurants und Aufenthaltsräumen.

I could not recommend this hotel enough. The decor is beautiful and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
