Hermanus Boutique Guest House

Dominique was amazing! From the time we arrived to the last minute. Breakfast was great, the bed was comfy and the attention to detail was amazing. We will definitely be back!!

Our family of four had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hermanus Boutique Guest House. From the moment we arrived, we were given a warm welcome that made us feel instantly at home. The location is perfect — right opposite the sea and the stunning cliff walk, making it perfect for relaxing strolls and wonderful ocean views. The staff were consistently pleasant and professional, always going out of their way to ensure our comfort. Our family room was spacious, well appointed with, amongst other things, air conditioning if required and a spa bath, and provided exactly what was needed after a day of exploring. We especially enjoyed the daily happy hour, which was a lovely touch and a perfect way to unwind in the comfortable lounge or dining area. Breakfasts were a highlight of our stay — an excellent selection of fresh fruit salad, delicious pastries, and a full cooked breakfast to get the day off in the right way. We also appreciated the flexibility of being able to come and go as we pleased, knowing that nothing was ever too much trouble for the team. We highly recommend Hermanus Boutique Guest House to couples, families, and groups looking for a comfortable, well-located, and welcoming place to stay while exploring all that Hermanus has to offer. Needs so much improvement but has potential This is not a 100Euro a night hotel. For my stay and the room it was quite pricey and hence bringing forth certain expectations with the price. So, you don't really expect to find white florescent warehouse lighting next to your bedstand (night security guard did find new light bulbs) neither you want to have a fight with outlets so that you can charge your phone and other electronics. And one expects certain amenities to be readily available at this price range rather than to have to ask for them like slippers, like bathropes in a room that has a jacuzzi (although pumps were not working) and more than one small bottle of a shower gell for two people (luckily we had ours) or may a gesture so me bath salts if you have a room with a jacuzzi and may be a scale. and provided that this is a vacation town, may be prioritizing your guests and not your "conditions" and offer a breakfast later than 10 and something that one can really call a breakfast buffet at a nice, luxurious boutique hotel, not a breakfast buffet of a roadside motel; and perhaps a check out time later than 11:00!! I mean I would stay there again.. Only would hope that they do not cut corners as such and actually try to make you feel good that you have chosen this hotel.
