The hotel is located conveniently only 5 mins from Ficks Pool and a short walk from the main shops. The hotel upgraded us to a balcony sea view room and we received complementary wine. The room was beautiful, very clean, with dstv and netflix services available. We also had a bathtub and a lovely balcony view. During load shedding the main lights remained on and the wifi was still active. The staff was also very kind and professional.

The decoration of the hotel is very exquisite, in European aristocratic style. The front desk service was very enthusiastic, and the female manager took the initiative to upgrade me to a sea view room on the second floor. As soon as I entered the room, I saw two whales spraying water on the beach on the balcony. It deserves to be called a whale watching town, with sea view + whale, the scenery is really good.

We couldn’t have expected a more spectacular stay. The warmest of welcomes, the most comfortable, cleanest and spacious of rooms with an amazing view of the ocean. The very good service continued throughout our stay. Good choice of breakfast in a warm and friendly environment. A big thank you to everyone, especially Lee-Ann. Tot ziens!

Our stay at Misty Waves Boutique Hotel was nothing short of pure bliss. It had everything and more that we could ask for when wanting a home away from home. The staff is super friendly, management treats you like family and the breakfast served is top notch. If you ever needed to stay over in Hermanus this is the place you would want to get you and your family checked in at. With a great view of the ocean or a simple sunrise to remind you of the beauty that God has created, this is where you will find it. Misty Waves Boutique Hotel has the best reading lounge and garden area to help you escape the busyness of life and get you realigned with things. For the runners looking to get a quick 5km or 10km workout while on holiday, it's perfectly located on the border of the Town's coastline. Mentally,emotionally and physically it's more than just a Hotel to us - it is a piece of heaven on earth. Watching the Springboks beat Wales in their in-house cinema was great - I guess you can say we were whale watching on another level in Hermanus. This was a definite 10 out of 5 star stay as we had double the fun at Misty Waves Boutique Hotel.

Beautiful rooms, the best views and 5 star service at this family run hotel!! We went for a weekend away to celebrate a friend's birthday and this was such a spoil. The rooms were luxurious with amazing views of the ocean and has everything you'll need. The location is central to Hermanus town, restaurants, the beach and other attractions. It's is a family run business with top notch service. Will highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Excellent location & stunning views out to sea. Staff provided excellent service throughout stay & arranged transport request Sea view rooms were of exceptional quality Facilities at hotel were immaculately maintained with shaded & sunny areas by pool area.

We stayed in the Misty Waves for 2 nights. Beautiful hotel with a super location close to city centre - you can walk everywhere. Staff was very kind and gave us tips for restaurants. Breakfast is served in the restaurant right next to the hotel with an awesome view. Would definitely recommend staying at the hotel. Parking is available too.

This was my second stay at Misty Waves, and I absolutely love this hotel! From the clean, neat and beautifully decorated rooms and facilities, to the friendly accommodating staff and delicious food and breakfast at the restaurant, it is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful stay in Hermanus!

The hotel suited our needs perfectly as it is very well located and very comfortable and welcoming. It's an unusual interior design which makes it interesting and even has its own private cinema which you can book for your own show. All in all a very comfortable stay.

This is the bestest place to stay in Hermanus! From the staff to the gardens to the fabulous rooms! I have now stayed here more than 5 times and will always return. The onsite restaurant is also great and John is happy to provide room service. Nothing to much for the staff to oblige your requests
