Lovely stay, we highly recommend it! The room was comfortable and up to expectations, hostess Nikki was warm and welcoming, and we had the best and most beautiful breakfast of our trip in South Africa.

Very homey, well-designed and well-maintained room. Spacious bed with mattress heater which was very helpful for the winter. Plus point for having two sinks.
The room didn't have air conditioner or heater but the very friendly host was so kind to provide us with a portable one.
Minus point: Wifi was slow and the signal was choppy. The chair at the desk was not very comfortable

I was very satisfied with everything. The couple who ran the inn were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. It was the first time I had such luxurious poached eggs. Thank you very much. I would recommend this place to everyone, especially Japanese people.

Loved staying at Penguino, which is a family run guesthouse only 15 mins easy walk from the town and restaurants. Nikki and Stefan were great hosts. Loved all the extra thoughtful touches like fresh flowers in our room, candles etc plus beach paraphernalia outside to borrow (towels, beach chairs etc). Breakfasts were delicious, cooked to order by Stefan, who is a very entertaining host and much fun. We loved all his anecdotes! Highly recommend Penguino and would love to visit again. Thank you ☺️

We stayed only for one night, could easily shave stayed more. We were able to check in early, this gave us enough time to start exploring by foot towards the city centre and oceon shore. Next morning early wake up for our whale tour, after the tour we went back and had a good breakfast and had enough time for the check out. All in all a very comfortable overnight.

Our accommodation was spacious and easy to get to. Centrally located. Nikki was a great host and managed to even sort out last minute whale watching excursion. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if back in Hermanus
